Alonso is fuckin awful. what does he do? apart from look good when he makes a sideways pass useless. No Pace. Cant tackle. Cant cross a ball. Cant take a free kick {problem at the club} What does he do, i am pleading with anyone to point this out to me? been looking for over 2 years {but he did have a good pre season against shit teams!ha idiots}

Great point - if the prem kicked off tomorrow id say we stand agreat chance as i really dont believe chelsea, man u or arsenal have strengthened whilst we have. However the next couple of weeks i can see that all changin. Jose, has left chelsea now, and as its been pointed out he was bitter because we beat them but as somebody once said "show me a good loser, and i'll show you a loser"! and them porto comments are laughable, he also won the treble the year before with porto winnin the uefa cup instead of champ league, wish that ghost train would come this way for a couple of years! and people who are callin him bitter are just portraying worst bitter behaviour IMO.

People sayin xabi has been great in pre season?????????? fucks sake?> how do you think he has been for 2 years in the prem? short memories, hopefully he has put himself back in the market with these performances, but i think scouts and football maangers know that pre season means fuck all! do you hear that fuck all other that getting fit! i would love barry more than alonso as he is a lot more mobile, fresh and would give good balance to the team as xabi and gerrard is not a good combo and barry would provide good cover for dossena when he is bombin on which he seems to do and mascharano can cover the other side as i think rafa is gunna be a lot more positive this season and thats why he wants barry so much. so what if xabi seems a nice guy? and all this talk about ye but when he is 31 he wont have any sell on value? were LIVERPOOL FC not a small club, if barry wins us the league then it will be 18 mill very well spent, xabi has had more than enough chances, thanks and goodbye. been excellent in pre season, do me a favour have a day off!!

SURELY rafa knows this is make or break season and after the sales of maybe risse, alonso, crouch and carson plus his usual 25mill, so i reckon he SHOULD HAVE around 55 million to spend, I suspect were going to see are usual 6 players in 6 players out routine with players who are NOT going to break into the top3. But putting myself in rafs shoes then surely he knows a serious title challenge this year is the minimum requirement not just a good cup run or a good finish to the season to make everybody think next season will be better! combine this with the fact that when he has spent big he gets proven quality as in the case of masch and torres then surely he needs to buy big proven quality players like Villa and not the like of james milner!! I would be more than happy with barry, bentley,villa not the likes of milner, downing or other players at that level. Come on rafa, its your last chance. GO FOR IT! For sure?no?
