I dont think there are any English managers good enough for the job or ready for it. Have had this debate a few times this week and got a lot of stick for saying that but most of the numpties dont realise how shit Mclaren, Allardyce, Curbishley et all are and Jewell and Pearce arent ready. A foreign manager is the best option, Hiddink or Scolari would be excellent.

I have been very critical of Kewell and I am still very undecided by him. Dont get me wrong he has been playing very well and will hopefully keep this up for the rest of the season and beyond. Im glad that he is starting to prove me wrong.

I define world class similarly to Stu in that a player can be considered world class if amongst the top few in his position. On the other hand its difficult to say only 3/4 players in each position are world class. Shevchenko, Rooney, Henry, Ronaldo, Adriano, van Nistelrooy are all world class for me and you cant say 2 of them arent just because 4 have already been picked. On that I would say we have the following that are world class - Gerrard, Alonso, Finnan, Carra and at some point Hamann and Hyypia would be thrown in there. We do have players with the talent to be world class, or arent too far behind, in Reina, Sissoko, Kewell and hopefully Agger.

I was chatting with someone the other day about Sex and the City and I am now currently working on a show about 4 men that shag any woman they can all in the name of an internet forum discussion. They all sit round and talk about how crap women are and how much better men are. It will obviously never air because it would be seen as chauvanist and sexist as opposed to the liberal and provocative Sex and the City. Although the young lady that I was talking to did actually agree with me even though she's a fan of the show. She did say that whilst it encourages women to be strong and deal with relationship and sex issues differently it also portrays women in a bad light. There is one character that wants nothing more than to be married with children, and all the others cant cope without men. So actually the programme is about how great men are and how women cant cope without us. Also, I saw an advert for Heat today and it says something about celebrities are now ditching diets and becoming fat. Utter shite.

If its present managers then I cant see it being us, no way would Rafa be involved in that. Man Utd and Pompey seem like definites to me and I reckon Newcastle. The reason Chelsea sign players is because they can afford to pay such huge fees, even if its just to stop a rival team signing them, as I feel the case was with SWP and Parker.

If he wants to come back on a short term deal to prove himself then get him in. He would get more goals than Cisse and would give the team a massive lift. In this team his loss of pace wont be such a problem and I would absolutely love to see him in a red shirt again.
