When we lost to Mainz 5-0 under Rafa in 2006, although it was only a pre-season friendly, I remember feeling embarrassed at that scoreline. Now unless my maths is out, Klopp must have been the coach at that time... The club has played a blinder here, I can't remember the last time I felt like this about football. The only thing that worries me is what effect the insidious media in this country will have on him in the long run. He seems to have an air of childlike innocence and enjoyment about him. That said, he does also, obviously, have real steel about him. Fascinating, enigmatic and charming. Happy days.
