  1. That was a superb side of his in the mid eighties, and a great player by all accounts. RIP
  2. Indeed, I feel a lie down coming on.
  3. Microsoft Edge really does not like this forum.... How do you delete posts? I don't want my "Lurker" status eroded by shoddy Microsoft products...
  4. Then God has a new name, and it beith Harry. Hole.
  5. Suzy......2 posts per month... Em City........less than 1 post per month... Mick R.....oooh, 1 post per month... Bastard, Em is the best lurker. So far..........
  6. We have a "lurk-off".... Who is the biggest and best (and sneakiest) lurked...?
  7. Yeah.....108 posts in 4.5 years, that's quite good lurking. Quite good....
  8. I Googled to be sure...from the man himself: The 48-year-old faced Liverpool as a manager even prior to Dortmund's 4-0 friendly defeat at Anfield in 2014, having beaten the Reds 5-0 in another non-competitive tie in the summer of 2006 with Mainz. After the second encounter, he reportedly remarked: "Once, I won 5-0 against Liverpool in pre-season with Mainz and afterwards we got relegated. For me, it's now standing 5-4."
  9. Incidentally, I wasn't having any dig at Rafa, it was a meaningless preseason friendly... Now roll on Saturday and Spurs...
  10. Only 4-0 so Klopp wins 5-4 on aggregate...
  11. When we lost to Mainz 5-0 under Rafa in 2006, although it was only a pre-season friendly, I remember feeling embarrassed at that scoreline. Now unless my maths is out, Klopp must have been the coach at that time... The club has played a blinder here, I can't remember the last time I felt like this about football. The only thing that worries me is what effect the insidious media in this country will have on him in the long run. He seems to have an air of childlike innocence and enjoyment about him. That said, he does also, obviously, have real steel about him. Fascinating, enigmatic and charming. Happy days.
  12. Shame about Man City & Mancini...
  13. Sky Sports News: "Jurgen Klopp is expected to travel to Merseyside on Thursday afternoon ahead of his imminent appointment as Liverpool manager."
  14. Thanks mate, I did not know that.
  15. Beginning to see stories saying this will be confirmed today. Beginning to get a little excited now. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/34460797 "Liverpool are expected to name former Borussia Dortmund boss Jurgen Klopp as their new manager on Thursday." Pedantic aside, shouldn't it be "Liverpool is expected...."?
