  1. Dier was appalling for that Saka goal and then drops deeper than the rest of the Bayern defence to play Love Island onside and gift him a great chance that Neuer saves.
  2. What a load of shite. So Middle East autocracies will still be given the nod of they want to buy a club as we can’t risk our trade selling them fighter jets and various other weapons.
  3. As a club and a set of fans we get a really raw deal. Having massive nationwide and international support comes with a price as it means the tv companies want to show us as often as possible to sell their subscriptions.
  4. People I have misjudged massively.
  5. They’re on their fourth manager since Mourinho joined in 2016 and the only way they can get results is by playing a counterattacking game. They have spent over £1bn on the squad in that time, it’s incredible how inept they have been run at every level.
  6. There’s an interesting report on the BBC Football website regarding the PL clubs and their finances. City’s commercial figures are still the most eye opening and surely require an in depth investigation and explanation. The graphs displayed make for interesting reading. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/68713522
  7. He’s a City mouthpiece. Just Google “Mike Keegan Daily Mail Manchester City” and there’s loads of articles where he’s putting across stuff that’s obviously been fed to him by the Abu Dhabi media team.
  8. I usually avoid watching City, but have flicked over before watching Masterchef and noticed those giant advertising hoardings. I’m surprised they’re allowed them as they dominate the screen and they’re very distracting, especially the giant Chinese ads.
  9. Taylor was the ref in our 4-2 and 5-0 wins at the toilet in 2021, so maybe he’s a lucky charm?
  10. Interesting stats here on how teams who have lead the league after 29 games eventually fared:
  11. Did Alf-Inge Haaland bang a really ugly bird to foist that cave troll upon the world? Because from what I can remember, he looked relatively normal, apart from being abnormally blonde.
  12. Worth having a read of the full Twitter thread, they’re fucked beyond belief.
  13. I know very little about the fella, but by all accounts (including many supposedly in the know) he just might be our next manager. Good things I’ve read; 1. - He won the league with Sporting Lisbon who are traditionally Portugal’s third strongest team in 2022, and he is on track to do it again this season. Bad things I’ve read; 1. He’s big mates with Mourinho. Anyway, some relevant shit on his coaching ability:
  14. Before my time, I only remember him as a Forest player, but I remember my dad saying what a good player he had been. This is a lovely tribute by the club, our Twitter account always seem to get it right when it matters.
  15. Anyway this is all working out exactly as I wanted, we are going to get someone pretty shit in, they’re going to fuck up royally, and Klopp is going to bored of his life as a serf and come back and ride to our rescue feeling refreshed from his year off and ready to wipe the floor with the entirety of European football.
  16. It’s better we know and accept this now than go into the Euros still thinking we have a chance that Alonso might join us. I just hope that the club identify the guy they want and can get, and have them lined up for the second the season ends*. *As long as the person identified isn’t Gareth “fucking” Southgate. Honestly, if the club even entertain the idea of bringing him in, I may be inspired towards terrorism in the same way Martin McGuiness was when the British army were marching down his street.
  17. That tends to be how Paul Joyce operates, hence his reliability.
  18. Yeah, it all looks like Alonso is waiting for the Madrid job to become available.
