Osvaldo is a good player. He's a centre forward, though so he'd be sub to Sturridge most games. Or Sturridge would be sub.

I'd take Henderson over Allen at the minute. Hopefully Allen improves cos I've seen him have good games in the past. I thought he was good against us for Swansea. Leon Britton was too.

Rodgers wants an attacking player whether Suarez leaves or not. Why wait?

We're not going to spend 50m on anyone. I doubt spend 25m on one player but the money should be there to do it if Rodgers wants to. I think it makes sense to do it before anything happens with Suarez.

Rodgers has said he wants starting players and an attacking player anyway. No point waitung to see what happens with Reina imo. As NV said about Reina, the price for players are likely to go up if we wait and end up selling Suarez.

We should get players before Suarez leaves, though. Like you agree we should've done over Reina.

We won't spend 50m on a replacement. Surely FSG could stump up 25m of the 35m tv money they got this summer so we can be proactive and get good starting 11 players in before Suarez leaves.

Will this happen with every player if we sell Suarez? Surely we should be getting players in now then instead of waiting to see what happens? We'll not be spending more than 25m on one player anyway so might as well sign them while Suarez is still here.

He said recently he doesn't care who is in for him, he wants to stay. Maybe it'd change if an offer did come in for Barca.

Allen definitely deserves another chance. He looked good alongside Britton for Swansea. He had a bad season but others have had bad starts and turned out to be good players.

I dont think so. I think Riise mentioned it on twitter that Liverpool were using it as a serioys game in their pre season. Seems shit for Gerrard's testimonial. It'd be good for him to get all his best former team mates back. Or maybe Riise just wasn't invited.
