I'd try to get players like Draxler and Shaqiri. Schalke might not want to sell Draxler for anything other than massive money, but Shaqiri is a sub at Bayern who seems to be well down the pecking order. Munain could be another one we could get. Sakho seems to be gonna be sub for PSG, too, but not sure him and Agger can play together. I don't watch as much European football as I used to.

And they don't have to be big names to be class players.

They are far better teams than us so will find it harder to find players to improve them.
