Why shouldn't he talk to the press in Uruguay? They love him and they aren't just asking him about us or another club. They do massive long interviews and the papers here pick a quote to make him look as bad as they can.

I think the club can keep him if they really want to. If he leaves I'd want more than the 2 you mentioned. More like 4 signings of that quality, or better, if he leaves.

Going by that site, Allen started 12 league games after Lucas came back and he missed at least a month at the end of the season. Henderson didn't just play no.10 position. He played on the left too.

Henderson got 6. Not a bad return for a midfielder. And that's with Allen getting picked ahead of him a lot of the time.
