Well pretty sure he didn't do that deliberately. We've chosen to have a pretty average number two, you get what you pay for.

    Thiago Alcantara

I don't think managers get involved at all if they can help it..those days are way gone. And klopp may be very comfortable with whatever reason Liverpool are not choosing to speak to gini's agent. So what's he to do then if he has some type of open door policy regarding transfers and contracts? I think it's pretty naive to think this works like they're all just mates. And klopp has mentioned often his involvement is on day 1 of training when he asks them to commit 1 year.

That's the story the echo have been running with and I think the likes of sky have followed on it. But I would be very surprised if klopp or Gini have anything to do with the process of a contract. That'll be ginis agent and Edwards surely?

    Thiago Alcantara

I would guess if stuff is coming from his side about LFC not making contact he's starting to get arsed or at least his agent is. I genuinely don't know what'll happen. Thiago seems a very un-liverpool signing, but there's been so much smoke around him, it would be surprising if we're as uninterested as the echo make out. But he seems to make a lot more sense if Gini goes. A mate of mine said the rumours are red Ronnie is next in line at camp nou. If that was the case, I could see Gini being a very Barca signing.

By all accounts so is Gini. That's the message coming out the last few days, which I'm guessing is coming from his agent along with the "Gini has had no contact from the club" line.

    Summer 2020 Transfer Thread

I lasted about 4 mins there before getting bored. As @No2 says he goes to ground a lot. He's like a young dejan! And I know whoever put the clip together is trying to make him look like a ball player, but I don't see him beating the press and getting out that easily in this league. I didn't see anything in that 4 minutes that got me excited.... But to balance that I instinctively hate highlight reals. He's probably a good player, but if we're struggling to find money for deals, I reckon there's less chancey signings.

Coutinho would improve this Barca team.

And who was that player who was in the Ukraine and then fucked off for about 8 trillion quid a week to China?

The echo is reporting (and I think now other outlets) Gini is waiting initial contact from the club. If this is true (and I am not saying it is, I am saying it seems likely AND I am hoping there is more to it), would you not agree we've potentially an issue? Gini is 4 and a half months from being able to sign a bosman and we've not tabled a proposal, as that is what is in the public domain? There was lethargy around milner, there was lethargy around mane. If there is lethargy around Gini too, that would be looking like perhaps we have a systematic issue in the organisation or optionally agents don't know how to approach the club, which is equally bad. It's a logical conclusion. If there's been no contact, something isn't right. I'm saying the most likely thing is something we don't know. Because if its what we do know, that something isn't good.

    Go fuck yourselves FSG

They opened up pretty early (compared to us) and haven't locked down the entire country. Anyway, it's all moot, it seems only LFC online are out of stock, so supply chain seems pretty unlikely to have a dedicated manufacturing plant just for the club. It would seem LFC have done what they always do and got it wrong.

I was thinking earlier and you'd probably know better as you're based in the US now aren't you? Do fsg actually have any experience in both kit deals and selling kits? Don't MLB take ownership of that type of thing for the whole league?

    Go fuck yourselves FSG

If people shop away from LFC we make less, so it absolutely does matter if we're out of stock. The report in the press (can't remember who flagged it here, maybe dockers strike) was the kits are made in china..

Stop being a tit. Read my words. Digest them. Understand them. At which point am I saying the bit in bold is true? The words I used were "I hope there is more to it". But if you want examples of contracts taking longer than they should, both milner and mane did so. But I wasn't using those examples. I was actually saying I think there might be more to the situation than any of us know. But you had to throw another one of your tantrums because you're so fucking desperate to defend fsg. It's embarrassing. You remind me of my daughter when I take the piss out of the shite she watches on TV.

It's fucking mental is what it is. Last year with NB it was just under 100, I think maybe 96 and that was quite an increase in the year before. Absolutely we don't know about a clause. But if there's manufacturing or supply chain issues it matters not, as it will cost Nike. But if we're going to load a contract that relies on us selling, running out is shit. I don't see how it's up for debate. They made a big deal out of the cloth was already bought way back when the court case was on and covid lockdown here was much later than China, iirc China were full steam ahead by around mid April. And they were open enough for the press to investigate how little wages Nike we're paying! But anyways enough of it now. You seem happy with it, as does no2. I think we should be better and it's not the 1st time we've underestimated demand. I've not seen anything about volume of sales.
