    Joke!

Went to the vets today with an embarrassing problem. My chameleon won’t change colour. The vet diagnosed the problem as a reptile dysfunction.

My understanding is that they block access to the servers that are providing the streams, so it does affect every channel from the supplier for the period that the football is on.

Possibly the PL block that the main ISP’s are enforcing. You can usually get around that with a VPN or changing provider to one that isn’t enforcing the block. Yet.

    Movie streaming sites for ipad

I wouldn't know anything about this sort of thing because I refuse to use services whereby you can watch copyrighted material without paying, but a friend of mine once told be about a website called cartoonhd.biz that apparently streams to pretty much all devices you can think of. This friend of mine was quite adamant that you should not use the cartoonHD app that is/was available on the app store because it's dodgy, and not related to the website I reluctantly posted above. Never used it. Never would. Seems to me the kind of place where you should only click on 'Watch' and not 'Download' though.
  6. Went to the chiropodist yesterday with an annoying and painful verruca on the ball of my foot. Turns out it was a corn. I'm fairly certain they only happen to old people. Come to think of it, the evidence backs it up because I do turn 40 next month.

    Private Trackers

Why would you want to track someones privates?

    The IPTV Thread

It's only the big 6 ISP's that are blocking as far as I know, so if you're with another provider there's no need for a VPN. That being said, if you've got fast broadband to start with then a VPN shouldn't throttle it too much. Especially a VPN router.

My mistake! Thought newer ones were Android. Worth checking the app store for Smart IPTV player or Perfect Player anyway.

Most Samsung TV's are based on Android so the Smart IPTV app mentioned above would work. Another good one is Perfect Player. If yours isn't Android, then your best bet would be to get a Firestick or Android box, or indeed a zgemma, if you want the Sky/Virgin skins. I don't think all subscriptions are the same. Lot's of people sell subs and then disappear so it's important to find a good source, and there have been plenty mentioned in here and on the XBMC thread.

Also toying with the idea of a vasectomy, but I just don't think I've got the......... guts. That's nothing to do with the heart thing though.

    The Ailment thread

I've got an arrhythmia, which presents itself in various ways. Every now and again my heart does a really heavy THUMP which feels a bit weird, and sometimes that is followed by anything up to 30 minutes of rapid but regular heart rhythms - sometime visibly beating out of my chest. Anyway, last time that happened to me was 3 years ago and I was fully checked out (private) and given the all clear in terms of blood pressure, furring of the arteries and all that. I figured I'd dodged a bullet and that's when I quit smoking. Move forward a few years and now I'm fitter than I've been in a long time, don't smoke, don't drink caffeine.. and the fast heart rate has happened again 4 times in about 6 weeks. Going back to the cardiologist on Monday for another check-up. It's annoying because if they can catch it in the act and give me an ECG, they can diagnose which type off arrhythmia it is and generally sort it out permanently. The chances of catching it happening are slim though. I'm going to request a monitor that I can just apply when it happens. The other option is to call an ambulance when it happens and hope they get to me in time to record it. Annoying more than anything, but can't help having that niggling thought in the back of my mind that I'm about to drop dead!

    Router and VPN

Get one that you can flash with DD-WRT or by one pre-configured. The other option is to buy a VPN router such as this: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Pre-Configured-Multi-Country-Router-White-Blue/dp/B017W43M4M/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1515156886&sr=8-2&keywords=vpn+router ..which you then plug into your existing router and you connect all your devices to it. This one comes with a month free sub to ipvanish.

You can watch sky and bt sports, and all the foreign channels for the 3pm KO's. They're just listed as channels in the sports section, and there are usually backup options in case one channel doesn't work properly. Way better than trying to find a stream through an add-on.

Yeah it's a great box. You'll probably need some extra info from your supplier (portal Server), and you'll also need to give them your MAC address to get the EPG set up properly. Well, that's what happened to me anyway! Downsides are that you can't get the Sky skin and 7 day EPG, but it's very robust and reliable.

    Wanking at work

Following on from the wanking in the shower thread, which in turn followed on from the peeing in the shower thread... Do you, or have you ever had a wank at work? I have. I probably knock one out in the toilets once a month. Usually on quiet days when there's nothing better to do than watch porn on the internet. A mate of mine said that once he went into the filing area of his office, laid out a bin liner, climbed up a ladder and shot his nut butter onto the bin liner! Apparently the contrast of white-on-black was something to be enjoyed! PS: Never done a poll before... hope it isn't too badly RiSed!

    E-Cigarettes

Don't know if you've bought that, but if you're looking for a choice then I would highly recommend one of these as a 'starter' kit. No settings to figure out. Just fill and vape. http://amzn.eu/eAROaDJ If you went for the kit DimReaper suggested, you won't be disappointed. Just thought I'd give my two cents worth.

My provider got hit badly at the weekend with the Premier League injunction. Apparently it used to be that they would block these servers that were streaming the matches, then the providers would switch and that would be the end of it. They're now continually going after them while the games are on. A fix is being worked on which includes splitting the sport channels off to different servers from the rest, so that any future downtime for the football won't effect the other channels. I was surprised by the number of people on Facebook that were complaining though. I don't think you've a right to moan when you're using a service that costs £7 per month and gives you access to every basically TV channel in the world!

Not sure about your particular provider, but as long as you're only watching one at a time you can use it on any number of devices. The alternative is a 'multi-room' sub which should only set you back a £10 - £20 for the year. Again, that's if your provider will do that. The GSE IPTV App is good, by the way.

Zgemma H2s is fine. I think the earlier ones, not so. There’s a new one called i55 (I think) and that’s supposed to be the best box for ipab or wooshbuild software, which is what allows for the TV guide and Sky skin. Mag boxes are best for IPTV without the Sky skin.
