1. Zack became principal for a day, while Kelly took over as history teacher. When a football game interferes with a history test, Zack tricked Kelly into postponing the test and risked their friendship. On the same day, Screech invented a new spaghetti sauce that won him the admiration of a snobbish Beverly Hills rich girl, named Robin, while Zack and the rest of the gang made a show for a cable access for a communications class which Mr. Belding was teaching. Happy Days.
2. Pull over then. It the choice of the driver behind you if they want to speed and face the consequences. I actually like speed cameras. I got flashed recently doing 40 in a 30 and got 3 points and an £80 fine. What the camera didn't pick up was that I was pissed and I had a dead prostitute in the boot.
3. I have nothing but admiration for your principled stance.
4. Well I for one will be careful not to do that in the near future.
5. I don't see where the confusion arises. No FF on the GF. You can GF or even TNF on the FF, and you can TNF on the GF too but the thread is likely to be moved.
6. I wonder which will produce more down-force and whether that would be of any benefit anyway. The smooth line appears to make more sense, I agree. Could Mclaren (or the others) change that mid-season or is that shape set in stone for the teams now? Well, not stone... that'd be too heavy.
7. Newton Faulkner. Talented bloke. Ginger.
8. Run malwarebytes in safe mode first, full scan, and then do it again normally.
9. Just got one of them Dolce Gusto machines at work. It's ok. However... I'm loving this right now: Play.com - Buy Aerobie Aeropress Coffee And Espresso Maker online at Play.com and read reviews. Free delivery to UK and Europe! Which I have at home and makes really nice coffee. Cheap as fuck too.
10. It's crazy. I was with British Gas and they tried to up my bill to around £120 (Gas) and £85 leccy. This was for a 2 bedroom flat. When I moved out they owed me £500. I'm now on their online 'pay for what you use' tariff where you submit meter readings via and app (or their website) and you are charged only for what you use. I'm now in a much bigger house and the bills are much cheaper. The estimated reading thing is a joke. It just allows these companies, who are already ripping it, to get interest on your cash.
11. Yeah loads of times Coop. Also albums, audiobooks and software. Nowt to worry about there.
12. It's definitely daft, I think we can all agree on that. My personal view is that the 'entertainment' industry needs to adapt and isn't prepared to do so. For obvious reasons I guess, they aren't going to be making as much money when people get their stuff for free. Same for artists. If you accept the very real notion that you won't make much (if any) money from selling your product, you should become liberated and focus on the ways that you can make money.
13. I would say that the user experience is better with tablets too. They're more fun to use, and with the iPad in particular, it's intuitive and easy. The real beauty of it is for those who just use a laptop for going online and looking at emails. It can sit the in the lounge and if you get the urge to look something up or send an email you're online within 5 seconds. Not to mention that some of the apps are just brilliantly designed and a joy to use.
14. StumbleUpon is a great app for surfing the web when you're having a shit. You pick your interest and it brings up relevant web pages. Failblog has a decent app too. Games like Jetpack joyride, Tiny Wings, Flick Home Run/football/rugby are brilliant on the touchscreen. Dropbox is cracking. There's an app called Keeper that stores private notes in an encrypted area on the phone too which is useful. Plus all of the above.
15. You get a picture for sure. I had one that's a lot worse than this which worked just fine. Lot of wires though.
16. There a 'Purchased' section on iTunes (and I've got a feeling that there's the same secition on the iPad) now and as far as I can tell it stores anything you've ever bought in iCloud including music. So you could delete it from your iPad and then download it again at a future point. Not sure what you mean by 'send it back to iCloud'. You can delete from devices but it will always be in the cloud. You can't get a refund, if that's what you were getting at.
17. Look for a wireless AV sender instead of the magic eye Dave, but no you can't watch something on Sky+ on one screen while someone watches TV on another. Something like this: Mini 5.8GHz AV Video Sender - No interferance with: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics
18. I've not tried converting mkv but I use Handbrake for all other converting and it's fucking excellent. I expect it will do them.
19. UK - Take a Chance On Me by Abba. US - Stayin' Alive, Bee Gees. Fucking hate Abba.
20. On a lighter note, if you replace every occurrence of the word 'bonus' in this thread with 'boners' it makes for much more amusing reading.
21. You ready Melons? He's initiating operation 'back-up plan'.
22. I know I'm late to the party here Zig but that's a fucking excellent tariff. why not sell the phone you've been given and look for a slightly older HTC model on a popular auction website?
23. Boston Park Plaza is a decent hotel and not too expensive. The Hilton in the financial district is ok too. It's not a cheap place to stay.
