  1. So let's some slightly less nasty cunts in then, shall we? You know - like murderers and rapists. Great argument.
  2. Well if that happens then you stringently check the credentials of those getting on to the ferries. Too smart a move for you?
  3. Considering the EU did fuck all to prevent any of this happening or even could do, your point is a pointless irrelevance. But don't fret; you're in good company with those on this thread who think refugees are all decent people, think none of them lie, none of them are violent and if they are violent you can't blame them or criticise them for it, who think they're all fleeing tyrrany and that none are economic refugees. Who think all Brexiteers are racists, who think Tory=evil and Labour=good. There are a lot of dangerously naive people on this thread and thank fuck they've not got power and their party isn't likely to have either.
  4. What a ridiculous, crass and unintelligent remark to make. Sums up your thinking about the vote that went against you. Here's a fun fact about Corbyn; he is supported and cheered by every hard left, Trotskyist, fascist (left ones, in this case) aggressive militant left-wing nut job in the UK. What does it prove about anyone else who votes for Corbyn? Sod all is the answer because it is a fucking stupid 'fun fact' for me to come out with. As you were... Making me laugh.
  5. Mate - this thread is full of hypocrisy and inconsistencies and your posts especially. There may not have been wars between member countries but that didn't stop war happening within Europe and the only reason that ended when it did was due to intervention of the USA. The European response to that war was abysmal. Don't pretend that the EU is good at keeping the peace because it isn't - it's shit. We are the fifth largest economy in the world and yet on one hand 'some people think it's more important than it is' - the Neanderthals you refer to. On the other hand there are those blinkered rabid idiotic citizens who think we are a 'shitty little island' with no influence. Which of those groups is the smarter then? On the one hand you claim that the rich fooled the poor and ignorant into voting to leave. On the other hand say that leaving will cost the county a fortune and ruin our economy thereby harming the very rich who wanted us to leave. Given that the rich like to keep hold of their money, one of your premises must be wrong. Which is it? Or is it both? And if the evil Tories strip away all human rights and workers rights then you know what to do about it don't you? Vote for Labour because they are the good guys and will simply re-instate all those rights. Your last line makes you sound like a tool. I'm not rich, I'm skint, and I am from Liverpool.
  6. It isn't a race to the bottom. Us being a little bit more fucked than Germany or France or Italy still means we're all fucked.
  7. If the UK making a success of leaving the EU is accompanies discontent within the EU and anti-EU feeling, it won't be because the UK made a success of leaving. It will be because the EU is fucked and Europe's citizens have had enough of it. How can you not understand that simple point?
  8. I have seen very few articulate or reasonable posts on here about why people voted to remain or what those posters think of those who voted to leave. And don't preach to me about being 'hostile'. Read through the thousands of posts in this thread to see virulent rabid hostility and hatred towards those who voted to leave.
  9. Mate - read again the opening sentence of your second paragraph. Then read it a second time. Then ask yourself again - because you and many others on here and elsewhere don't seem to have grasped the answer - "Why did the little guy vote to leave?" So much of what you say is defeatist nonsense, especially how you think what would effectively be a 'tarif war' would only cause the economies of the EU 'a little wobble, for a bit'. What planet are you on? We are a major economic player and major contributer to the EU coffers. They're about to lose an arm and you are without realising it suggesting they cut off the other one to spite the one that wanted to leave. Brexit is going to happen. You can't stop it. You didn't want it to happen - I get that. The thing is, you were outvoted. You were in the minority. We are leaving the EU. Now, you can either cry about it day after day into your rice crispies or you can hope to get the best Brexit deal for the UK that leaves the country prosperous and secure - a deal that harms neither side and benefits all. I hope the EU negotiators want the same thing too. Or you could adopt the Stronty school of thought which is 'I hope we get fucked over and go back to the dark ages'. You are bang wrong. What is good/bad for us is good/bad for them and vice versa.
  10. Or we and they use our fucking intelligence and work out a deal that benefits everyone. Gosh. Now how hard did I have to work to come to that conclusion??
  11. And on that point, what you are too knobhead to realise is that it isn't just the people you hate who you want to suffer. We all would, including you. Idiot.
  12. Do you know what's painfully obvious, Stronty? You are a lot less intelligent than you think you are.
  13. We're not. We really are not. They need our custom at least as well as us needing theirs. The balance of trade figures with the EU have borne this out for a hell of a long time. We are in a very strong negotiating position. In the case of the UK leaving the EU it isn't a question of who will come off worse. It isn't a race to the bottom. Punitive tariffs against the UK would be met in kind and would thus be harmful for everyone concerned to a great degree. It would be economic mutually assured harm. It isn't cutting off our noses at all - it would be fighting fire with fire. You seem to be suggesting we should accept any shit deal or situation the bullies in the EU want to throw at us. That's cowardice so thank fuck you will not be part of the negotiating team. Any deal less favourable to the UK as we leave would be less favourable to the countries of the EU who sell stuff to us, ie all of them. The choices are stark and obvious; make life easy for everyone or for no-one. And you did agree with Stronty. He made his ridiculously stupid comment which you quoted and your first word afterwards was "Indeed." In no way did you then pull him up on it. If that isn't agreement then please give your definition of 'agreement'. Exactly. It's simple common sense, something which the doom-mongers and surrender monkeys on here and elsewhere don't like to consider. Yup, so we simply accept them putting the prices up. Excellent backbone. Likewise with Angry, thank fuck you are not part of the negotiating team.
  14. Both questions are piss easy to answer. i) Make clear that any attempt to impose unfair tariffs would be met in kind. 'You try to harm our exports we will do the same to yours' ii) The whole world has 'access' to the single market. The whole world sells into it. That's 'access'. Now, perhaps Mr Angry, you could tell us why you agree with Stronty that you "hope they tell us where to go" and they "tariff us through the backside". Justify your opinion.
  15. So, you want to see not just your own country fucked over out of spite but also the countries who you wanted to remain wedded to in your beloved EU? The traiffs you desire would create havoc across the whole continent. That's what you are calling for. You are so filled with spite that you didn't get your way that you are calling for a policy that will DELIBERATELY fuck over millions of people and lead to a recession. You're not a very nice person are you, Stronty? And as for the quotes from Hollande where he all but uses the phrase 'Britain should be punished', the fact that he says these things and holds these opinions are proof of the insecurity he feels about the failing EU. He would rather try to scare others from leaving rather than show to those who might also consider leaving the benefits of staying. The UK will not miss the monster that is the EU with it's Junker and Hollande bullies. They are steering the EU further and further towards the rocks and are too blinded by their arrogance to believe it's happening. That same blinded arrogance was why so many couldn't believe we voted to leave. As a nation we either let these fuckers bully us or we don't. I say we don't and lets hope the UK negotiators say so as well.
  16. Laughable appointment. Truly entertaining. I mean, you could be forgiven for thinking Corbyn's already given up winning an election. I wouldn't vote for Corbyn. I'd even less vote for McDonnell. I'd less again vote for Abbott. You really REALLY couldn't make this up.
  17. All those who have less money in their take-home pay than they used to have - especially public sector workers - or even simply those who are uncomfortable with the seemingly inexhorable rise of public debt might take some convincing that putting us all in even more debt is going to be a good thing. All those hundreds of thousands, maybe millions, of Labour voters who have seen their communities change against their wishes over the last 20-30 years might take some convincing. I'm sorry chum but this blinkered thinking that 'people just don't understand the message' is why we are going to have Brexit and why Labour will not get elected. You are not listening to your own voters, never mind trying to appeal to other voters. It is the groundswell of anger and discontentment of some of the core Labour vote that you are preaching to. That anger and discontent won't go away because the policy makers tell them that they don't understand the message or, like some on here, tell them that they're racist, xenephobic, 'Little Englander' thick cunts. The very people you need to get Labour into power do not like your message.
  18. Renationalising railways - popular More borrowing - not popular More immigration - not popular Corbyn/McDonnell as individuals - not popular Being popular among people who think your great is fine if the people who think you're great are in the majority. When those people are very much in the minority then you have a problem with electability. Those two unpopular policies - especially the immigration one - have, whether or not the Corbynites can or cannot see it, mean Labour have no chance of winning an election. ESPECIALLY since the 'more immigration' policy pisses off more Labour voters than anyone else.
  19. Lots of Labour people don't get it which is why they will be out of government for a long time.
  20. Even if 100% of eligible members voted for him, popularity with party members will not get Corbyn elected as PM. The reality is that Corbyn and McDonnell are relics of a political period that rejected their politics. The world and the electorate have moved on - they haven't. Even though they might propose some policies that the wider electorate agree with, Corbyn has as much chance of becoming PM as have George Galloway, Diane Abbott or Ken Livingston. The electorate don't like them. It's not going to happen. Labour are now a protest party for the leftists and will remain so for a long time to come, even after the 2020 election because i) I can't see Corbyn resigning even after an electoral loss and ii) if he did resign the leftists will put forward another Corbyn clone who, like Corbyn, will appeal to the same people who voted for Corbyn. If you think the sun shines out of Corbyn & McDonnell's arses then I'm pleased for you. You'll be waving your 'Tories Out' placards for years to come.
  21. Crivens! 10 years later and it's still causing controversy. There would an easy but stomach-churning way to resolve this. At then end of a long working day get 10 from each side to bend over for bottom inspection. I have no doubt that the standers would have a far higher count not only for faecal matter nestling twixt the cheeks but also for skid marks in the undies. I simply don't understand why standers can't see how the act of standing up can only squash what's left on the ringpiece between the cheeks. If like me you have even a moderate degree of hair between your cheeks and around your ring, you are guaranteed to be left with a few dirty janglers.
  22. They haven't broken the law. If anything they have acted in the public interest to highlight the lies of a politician. Surely we all want to know when a politician is lying to us..??
