  1. That's what Adblock Plus does, stops ads before videos, and not just on youtube. Just tested skynews.com using Google Chrome and Adblock Plus enabled and the adverts are prevented from playing, you get straight to the video you want to see.
  2. Whatever helps you sleep at night. He's overpriced at the fees quoted 25, 26, 30 million, whatever the fuck it is. Its roughly double what he's worth. Lallana talent + Captain tax + English tax + Premier League tax + flavour of the month tax + hipster hair tax + Ian Ayre shit-twat negotiator tax = £30 million. Take out all the peripheral shit and he's worth so much less. It would be a complete joke of a transfer. Not only because he's overpriced, but our rivals can always beat us in the expensive signings game. Chelsea have already demonstrated that with signing Fabregas. They already bought somebody for similar money who's clearly better than him. That's not what we should be doing. With limited funds you can't outspend anybody, you go for value. FSG had it right when they suggested that's what we'd be doing. Instead, this Lallana stuff comes up and it's potentially the same old shit again.
  3. The cuties in Phoenix's third post appear to have 'tug' written on their tops. If they say so...
  4. That's just based on odds. The 8 or so most common scorelines in football have 2 goals or less for either side.
  5. I'm soooo going for the latter on that one. Part of the reason is that the teams we're competing with have players in the position he plays that are already better than him. They also didn't cost as much as him. So they've won on all counts. Time to move on to a target who has world class potential, not somebody who's good but not excellent and is as good as he'll ever be. Technically good, quite creative but low scoring, inconsistent, not physical, shit hipster haircut. Similar to Coutinho in a lot of ways, difference is Lallana doesn't have time on his side to become much better than he is now. Not a 30 million footballer ever. Ever ever ever ever ever.
  6. There's no corruption in Africa, as this current league table from Nigeria demonstrates. It's been the same every year for at least the last 10 years, but any century now, I'm sure they'll do something about it. Away wins are really tough to come by. I'm sure there's a perfectly logical explanation why you score over a goal a game at home, but can't score a single goal away in 9 games like Kaduna have managed. Maybe it's because, as one Nigerian football fan put it, "the teams are evenly matched".
  7. If they fired that gun while the cat was on it, it would have been the first cat in space.
  8. On board? More like pushed overboard. It's going to get really emotional when we see the humongous gulf in quality between him and Suarez/Sturridge when we put this plodder on the pitch next to them, or god forbid, instead of them. The closer to zero the total minutes he's on the pitch next season is, the better. It isn't his fault though, it's the clubs fault. In the same way he jumped at the chance to sign for us (like Adam, Downing, Aspas and the rest of the do-nothings), I'd jump at the chance to strangle Ian Ayre.
  9. Please reject every bid we make, Southampton, please, I beg you.
  10. He's been saying he can't believe he's signed for Liverpool and it hasn't sunk in, his parents cried when they found out etc. I can't believe it and I cried as well, just not for the same reasons fatty.
  11. http://www.worldstarhiphop.com/videos/video.php?v=wshh60Y199DjwGYk2tgr This is great as well, from her DVD.
  12. It's still there now. Why leave it there when taking a picture of it with a phone, which takes 3 seconds, when you can leave it there for a week?
  13. Cat: "I've had a bit of an accident."
  14. The forwards need to make the ball do the work. I think they hold it too long and try too much at times. There were spaces on the counter but we didn't play the ball into those spaces, instead they tried to run with the ball into the spaces. Use more movement and quick one two touch stuff and I think that will work for us better at Cardiff.
  15. You'll be amazed to find out he does actually exist, unlike the bird. Plays for Roma. He is Brazilian, and has a shit haircut. Spooky.
  16. A little from column A, a little from column B.
  17. Preferably a team that plays exciting attacking football home and away, and isn't from the Premiership. That rules quite a few teams out, basically left with the German or Spanish teams. As Liverpool aren't in it I want it to be entertaining at least, to be bothered with it.
  18. I didn't know they tried to sign Robbie Rogers.
  19. It is, but it's a good lesson to those who don't know how to express their point of view without using OTT insults when you're trying to converse.
  20. I do like that, it's impressive, IMO. (I have to put that after everything I say now, because of tedious think-they-know-it-alls)
  21. You just said it. "State my opinions", which is what I did, I stated my opinions. The word fact never came into it, I am using my judgement of the circumstances. An opinion is what somebody believes to be true, otherwise they're would be no point saying anything if I thought everything I was saying was wrong. I never stated that the alternative to what I said was impossible. Do you do the same when somebody says "Man U wont be as good next season", are you steaming in on them saying that's just your opinion, not a fact, or do you only jump on somebody with the fact nonsense when you don't agree with them? That's what it looks like. Why is there somebody, seemingly on every forum, who has trouble with understanding the difference between opinions and fact? A fact can be objectively proven, so if I'm saying Suarez will be sold, I can't objectively prove that because is hasn't happened yet, it is my subjective interpretation of current facts that lead me to believe that an event will occur. You need to educate yourself.
