    Yeah but they had the smallest attendance and no real European money and yet they still had half the England team nearly at one time I do hope they get saved though, they deserve their points penalty they'll get for going into administration though.

    Flying aren't they Forest this season, didn't we buy Anderson around the same time as we got El Zhar? Surely he was worth his place in the squad.

    Any time I watch the championship highlights after Match of the Day he always looks lightning this lad, he never even got a chance for us in a league cup game. Weird because I'm sure Rafa bought him.

    Be a sad day when Carra's not one of of our first picks. I thought he was our best player on thursday so I reckon he's got at least 3 or 4 more years in our defence.

    Pretty amazing how good Barca are with half or more of their team and their manager through their own youth system. They should really have Fabregas and Reina playing for them too.

    It was proper demoralising being in that ground last night, the rots set in to much now. It would take a massive overhaul of the squad to change it round under Rafa if at all. We don't have the money to do that and I wouldn't trust him to spend it right anymore if we did.

    I don't have too many issues with his summer spending in 07 it's the 08 summer that's really shafted us. Pissing off Xabi, good money wasted on Degen, Keane and Dossena. It's looking every bit as bad as Geds 2002 summer.

    I think the golf club incident played a big part in him leaving, plus he hadn't pulled up any trees for us and West Ham offered good money.

    Mad to think back now that Sven was going to get the United job in 2002 when Taggart was set to retire. How different things would have been, 8 years later and Taggart's still going strong.

    It would be weird at first, he reached Neville level hatred when he was at Chelsea. As long as he wins games I doubt many would be bothered though.

    i'd imagine the pavements will have been gritted for those winter sporting events, this is freak weather in England. I don't want my council tax going up so we were well prepared in 30 years for the next time we have weather like this.
