  1. PPG to finish off this season and use the same final table for next season as well. Wait and see if it's 100% safe for footballers to leave their houses in time for the 2021/2 season.
  2. I expect most of these frightened footballers will be perfectly happy for their cleaners/gardeners/childcarers/nannies to get back to work.
  3. Supposedly the police are starting to back down on their insistence on neutral grounds provided the clubs provide sufficient stewards to help make sure social distancing is maintained around the grounds. A big hurdle overcome if true.
  4. They'll be the safest, most protected people in the country when they go back.
  5. I think the suggestion is £350m gets claimed back even if the games go ahead. If it's curtailed then the claim is far higher.
  6. They'll need to cut a deal with the EFL but I expect that'll be easy to do so long as two or three clubs get promoted. What other objection could the EFL have particularly as they'll be struggling to finish their games if the Prem can't ? And if the clubs have have reached agreement, the FA will fall in line.
  7. I think the bottom six have agreed to stick together in the hope that time will run out and when thoughts turn to curtailment they'll threaten to try to block any decision which involves relegation. They only need one more supporter/abstainer to do that and they'll promise unanimity around the idea of an expanded Prem for next season.

    Graeme Souness the Player

Agree with this. If I had to choose between them to win a Cup final I would probably go for Gerrard but to win a league campaign it would definitely be Souness.

    THE Sopranos thread

Tony worries that when he bangs Ralph's goomar he might be going where Ralph's already been. "So he could technically not have penisary contact with her volvo?"

    *Shakes head* Everton again.

"We always run at a loss so we won't be affected by not making a profit".
  12. I think they're all best guessing. Some scientists saying the lockdown is a waste of time and the Swedes have got it right. Some say we should be in lockdown for months to avoid a second wave. Some say we'll all get it anyway. Some say you have to wait until we're all vaccinated. Some say you can't get immunity so a vaccine is pretty useless. Some say a vaccine might work but the virus could then mutate. The only certainty is that that if we don't start the economy again soon we'll be fucked long term.
  13. Would be a terrible shame but if it saves one life.

    *Shakes head* Everton again.

Very concerning. I fear for them.
  15. Good player but never had the makings of a Varsity athlete.

    Molby or Alonso?

Anybody mentioned exchange rates and tax regimes yet?
  17. The PL could have taken a lot of the heat out of this by declaring that if the season is curtailed then obviously Liverpool will be declared champions in view of the huge existing lead. Hopefully they will do that after Friday's meeting.

    *Shakes head* Everton again.

We managed to ruin even their greatest moment when we got that fifth spot and then qualified for the group stages.
  19. Play them on the Falklands. Each club isolating on a separate boat off Port Stanley.

    Molby or Alonso?

I suspect that most people who actually saw both play will have voted Molby.
