I'm a Europhile and would take back EU membership in a heartbeat, but seriously, fuck Macron and fuck the French in this instance. Twats.

He just looks like a total fanny. Like he was booted off The X-Factor Greece and decided to give footy a try instead.

Nice one man. Where about are you in the state?

Every. Single. Time. It's a reflex at this point.

I had the Pfizer in Feb. Both doses, three weeks apart. It wasn't my turn, but I was presented with a very short notice opportunity and took it. Wrestled with it from a moral perspective, but no regrets. If I hadn't someone else would have and I've never been given a leg up on anything in my entire life. Felt rough as fuck after the second. Really sore, dead arm and shivers and chills. Florida has done a great job – for all the shit we get from the wider nation and beyond – with this and is about to open up the vaccine for everyone over the age of 18.

I'll go first. The Beatles are UNDERrated.

Happy to be considered a sad wanker for being upset that everyone else has to pay more because others are robbing stuff.

The weirdest place you've ended up by accident...

Haha! Sorry bro. Sam Wo rules though. Proper filth noodles and they wash the table down with green tea. That was a fantastic recommendation for authentic Chinatown cuisine. Stop Asian Hate, you snob! (Sorry bro, it was pretty rank) -

Could you ferry from Bilbao, worst case scenario, if you needed to get home?

I think we should all be able to agree that Owen Jones is a cunt.

Same here. Hope you can make it back mate. This time is incredibly hard on people separated. There's a different level of anxiety. I was homesick even when I knew I could jump on a plane and by in my ma's house by teatime the following day. Now it's just compounded. I flew in to be there for a surgery she was having last September and, honestly, flying is pretty much the safest part of the experience. Getting through the London Underground to Euston was the part that made me feel unsafe/like I was putting others at risk. Naturally that's changed now with the threat of the variants potentially, at some point, emerging that are significantly resistant (not just reduced efficacy) to the vaccine.

Hence the words "pretty much" that immediately preceded the word "everyone"

Have they just opened everything up after vaccinating pretty much everyone?

Aside from all this cunt-calling, can we assume from cases staying around the 4-5K a day mark for the last week or so (from well over a million tests), while hospitalisations and deaths continue to drop by about 1/3rd each week, that the vaccine really is breaking the chains of transmission and serious illness? Cases are being kept in check by lockdowns and will probably go through the roof when everything opens, but there won't be the same uptick in hospitalisations and deaths? This is how I feel about it. Judging by the tone on this thread, that might seem a bit optimistic.

As someone who lives in the US, and is desperate to get home to see my ma ASAP, I really hope there isn't a blanket ban on travel. I'm fully prepared to abide by whatever rules are put in to place. Just don't cut me off from home completely. It's not all knobs going off on their Benidorm jollies, there are people missing precious time with families and loved ones too. Feels a shame to punish people who follow whatever guidance they're given because of those dickheads.

We do. Well, Anfield does. I'd give us as good a shot as anyone if the fans were in. As far as we know none of the games will even be played at Anfield. I do think we'll beat Madrid though because they're fucking shit.

But if Paltrow avoided eye contact with me after I'd been staring at her for 15 minutes... Living proof that it's possible to hear a photo.

There are an awful lot of assumptions we're gonna be in the Champions League final! Pretty bold for a team that's recently been had off by Burnley, Brighton and Everton at home.

I had a similar experience with Gwyneth Paltrow. Never considered her to be particularly striking. Then I went to an Iron Man press junket with her, RDJ and Terence what's his face. Man, she practically floated into the room and had the orange aura like Rick James in the Dave Chappelle skit. I've never been that knocked-dead. It was like Wayne's World when he first spots Cassandra. Other than the "oh yes, she will be mine," because it would have been weird if I looked into the nearest camera and said that. For me it proved some people on television or in films aren't to be judged by the same standards as your average Krazyhouse attendee. They've got this magnetism and "it" factor that absolutely sets them apart from mere mortals

I'm not here to argue (anymore), but you mean the actual facts about the amount of ground Thiago would have to cover to fill in Gini's role, as you suggest. Amazing how you've distilled Wijnaldum's contribution down to retaining the ball and running about a bit. I'm not a Gary Neville fan at all, but he recently called him the most underrated player in the entire PL. Ironic that his role may be filled by the most overrated player in Europe. Anyway, as you were.

Gini's replacement should be Gini. Just pay the man already.
