  3. He’s a lying, cheating fucking cunt up there with the biggest ever cunts in the game and anyone who ever forgets that should hang their heads in shame. This is the cunt who deliberately lied about the paramedics and ambulance service when they were treating his goalkeeper with a life threatening brain injury.

  7. I've never been intentionally racist in my life, only unintentionally. We had a Chinese lad in school called Alan and I saw him at the Liverpool Show once, I followed him around with his mum and dad for about ten minutes shouting 'Alan, Alan, why won't you talk to me?' But it turned out it wasn't Alan.

  8. English football is a cesspit of corruption and incompetency and that European Cup / Champions League / Midden League is a dogs breakfast of a tournament with zero credibility. davek Player Valuation: £150m November 27, 2024 Add bookmark #7,144 Of course. But no one is seriously arguing now that an English League title with the governance issues the PL has (holding an axe over certain clubs' heads) and expecting a level playing field with vast sums of cash 2 or so clubs have has not degraded the title; nor can anyone look at the EC/CL/Whatever that kin mess is now be seen as anything like the prestigious competition it was 10-20 years ago. Football needs cleansing from top to bottom. We could do with a new round of football hooliganism to clear the decks, tbh...obviously without the Kopite level of murder that goes with it. Hahaha and we're back to it being a poor league. Same rhetoric as when we were fucking storming it in 2019/20. Davek's misery and anger fuels me. Keep it coming you fucking bitter cunt, I'm almost on the vinegar strokes.

  12. They’ll either have thrown a cup of water on his jeans or left him until he had no choice but to piss. There will be a lot of hard work to stop people saluting him. His action made a lot of people who never look up , look up. They want you looking down and blaming the people below you. They really can’t have that many people looking up at them.

  15. They've got worse in last 10 years or so as well. Even the decent ones - and the ones who were already rabid are just a parody now And as for the young ones - the scalls who don't even really know what they are supposedly angry about with us but they just are (it is of course all an attempt to deflect from their own shiteness) - they are just absolutely pathetically hilarious. I would say i'd wish they won something or had a bit of success like qualifying for Europe - thinking maybe it will quell the anger in them, but then I think no - because they are not capable of any sort of humility or winning with grace and they'd be beyond unbearable - a milk cup win would be lauded as better than a european cup, qualification for the uefa cup would be better than top 4 and a harder competition to win etc etc etc....and they'be claiming their rightful place as the best team in the world, lad - blah blah fucking blah. So fuck them, the bitter pricks. I actually never used to want them to go down - always saw it as bad for the city and for older decent blues. But all that has changed - fuck them, I want them down and down for years too now.

  16. To be honest I don't see how it's on Labour to stop people voting reform, any more than it's on the Democrats that people voted for trump. "Oooh you'd better quickly overturn the ravages of right wing politics I continually voted for - and double quick smart - or I will take revenge by voting for an even more right wing party and that'll learn you. Meanwhile I'll consume every type of racism, misogyny, bullshit and lies I can get my hands on and have neither the brains or temperance to check whether it's right or not." James O'brien had it spot on today talking about polarisation, and he said it wasn't about left or right any more, it's about lies vs truth. You've got a Starmer or a Harris who, regardless of their flaws, deal in a world of laws and facts. Opposed to a Farage or a Badenoch or a Truss or a Trump who just spout non stop, outright, provable lies all day, every day. The simple fact of the matter isn't complicated, it's that we're a nation of idiots and an increasingly quite disgusting people and we will get what we deserve.

  19. Six wins from six, a place in the automatic qualifying places secured, but Arne Slot was far from happy with the performance despite the 1-0 scoreline. TLW Editor Dave Usher is joined by Dan Thomas to chat about this game as well as to look ahead to the weekend visit of Fulham to Anfield and to discuss the news this week that David Coote has been sacked. 32. I think Trent appears to lack humility at times. This is understandable when you've been feted since a young age. I just hope he doesn't end up like Bellingham as I think Real is the worst place to go if you want to keep your feet on the ground. I despise Real as a club and find it fucks up most players as people when the go there. Quite the opposite than when you've been successful here, usually.

  37. They demand respect, but don't show any back. They demand fair hearings, but don't offer them to their own victims. Harvey Elliott gets banned for a tweet someone 'accidentally' dug up from back when he was 15. That wouldn't happen to a ref. 'It would make those refs who oversee amateur games even more vulnerable'. That's their all-purpose teflon shield. 'Don't denounce a prominent ref - a lower league ref will get physically attacked'. Politicians should try it. 'Don't attack a cabinet minister - a local counciller might get a brick thrown at them'. It's laughable. What was said when Coote was first charged? Ian Ladyman in the Daily Fail came over all faint, wailing that the criticisms would endanger 'the blokes with tea towels for flags on the Sunday mudflats'. Yes, he actually said that. Are Premier League refs going to be protected forever because of the need to keep non-league refs safe from ranting dads??? Why not just clamp down on ranting dads and treat professional refs like any other professional group with responsibilities to uphold? Just a thought.

  40. Monday Dec 2: Something from yesterday I want to mention as I think I forgot to put it in the match report. The coin toss. Virgil wasn’t happy about something and I joked that Kavanagh had brought his double sided coin to allow City to turn us around, but it turns out that Virg wasn’t ready because he was still looking after the mascot. The reason I mention this is because when Virg was asked about it, he actually name checked the little guy, Isaac. He didn’t need to do that, he could have said mascot, but he made a point of saying his name and I thought that was fucking awesome. Imagine how the little kid and his family felt hearing Virgil talking about him like that, almost as though he’s referring to a mate. It’s only a little thing, but it says a lot about Virgil I think. Meanwhile, Simon Hughes says that Mo is exasperated with the lack of movement on a contract and he is willing to accept a one year deal. I’m sure he is, as long as he’s getting a hefty pay rise. Loads of people are saying its the length of contract that’s the sticking point, but it won’t be just that, it will be the salary as well. If he wants a rise, I reckon he’ll be told no chance. Same terms, not a penny more. If he asks for four years on the same terms, he’s not getting it. Would they even stretch to three? I’d like to think so. I’d happily give him three years on his current salary. Not sure the club would, but there is absolutely no reason not to. If Mo is happy to sign for one year, yet no contract is coming, then it’s absolutely because of the salary he’s wanting because one year on the same terms is a deal that LFC would bite his hands off for. So why the delay? My theory is that Richard Hughes knows that he’s in the strong position here. He doesn’t have to persuade Salah to stay, he just has to agree on a deal that suits all parties. So he’s not going to just give in and pay Mo whatever his agent is asking for. He doesn’t need to, because what are Mo’s options? He can threaten to leave and go elsewhere, but there’s nowhere for him to go that’s even close to giving him what he wants in terms of the whole package; money, success, prestige and records. If Mo wants to tick every one of those boxes he can only do it here. I’m positive this deal gets done, but I think it will drag out a good while longer.
