Can have a chat about footy with fans of any other club except that lot. Like Quote Reply Report Reactions:catcherintherye Stop giving this moron oxygen, He feeds off it; the only audience he has. Why are so many scrolling the Web to see what shite he's spouted and give it fresh life? Don't post here for him or about him. Not difficult to understand. Feeding that retard is exactly what he wants.5 points

What surely can't be argued against is that it is extremely unlikely that any owner meeting the criteria that will be acceptable to all actually exists. FSG have not been shite. They have succeeded on their own terms. They've made mistakes, but those mistakes have not materially impacted the value of their asset in the medium / long term. As fans, we have a different set of criteria for what success looks like. To not give FSG credit for securing their man seems a little bit one eyed to me. I would suggest that should FSG sell up, the chances of us finding an owner more likely to give the fans more of what they want are small - I'd pitch, unscientifically, for something less than 20%. The chances of us finding an owner that would make all fans happy are significantly less than 1%.5 points

One of my ex-colleagues, a top red called Ariff, is cycling with a bunch of his fellow red chums from Wembley to Anfield to raise money for food banks, the 23 foundation and other relevant charidees. He follows the reds all over the place, and is a truly nice guy. Any amount, no matter how small, would be gratefully received. @dave u, if I'm not allowed to put this on here, then I apologise. https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/lfcredindians20213 points

Went to drop some decent stuff off at a charity shop before, first one said we'd have to book an appointment next week (an appointment to give them consumer goods to sell) so we fucked it off and went to the one next door who literally said 'oh no not donations, we're not taking donations'. We drove further afield and found one that'd take the stuff. Between this, the charity chugger cunts they employ to harass you in the street, the fact they employ people like David Miliband on Megabucks, plus the fact most charities whose help you ever try to get are largely shite anyway (mental health charities are great at producing pamphlets but not actually any good at supporting mental health) they can get fucked.3 points

I told my kids (albeit in their 20s) that they needed to weigh up the risks themselves and make their own decision. My son, well he had the jab. My two daughters were not so sure. Since then one has contracted Covid and wished she'd have had the jab and the other then decided to have the jab. I don't agree with shaming or threatening people to have the jab, just as I don't really agree with incentives. But I agree that people need access to proper medical information to make an informed decision. The problem we seem to have in the last decade is that society has become so polarised that it's almost impossible to do that as both sides shout at each other and use insults. I didn't have to think about the jab, for me the slight risks were outweighed by the benefits, I can understand the hesitancy the young may have.3 points

Grade one cunt, got me banned from GOT for questioning the accuracy of his“facts“ about German history and pointing out that supporting Liverpool does not make you a racist. He was defending the human rights policies city’s owners; then I was banned from following him on twitter because I said Carra was talking sense and he wasn‘t. I would love to know his real name and address.3 points

Don't skimp/cheat on the eye tests. You might (unknowingly) have a degenerative eye condition like glaucoma, and by the time you notice any effect, the damage is already done. Sadly, I speak from experience.3 points

Loved one of the dads of the team gymnastic bronze medallists when asked why she chose gymnastics. He said she was an absolute nutter as a kid and they wanted to get a break on Saturday mornings and most of the sports on offer at the local leisure centre were for an hour and gymnastics was 90 minutes.3 points

It might be too late for this season, but I think instead of saying '97' on the back in future, it might be an idea to put '1989' or 15/4/1989' between the flames. The tragedy has claimed the lives of more than the 97 as so many others had their lives ruined by it. Commemoration of the date would make it inclusive of them too. As I say, just an idea.3 points

So vaccines are to be offered to 16/17 year olds. I have one of those so there will need to be a discussion imminently. Ultimately it will be up to him, but I’d like to be able to present accurate facts and both sides of the argument so he has what he needs to make an informed decision. I’d like him to have it, of course, but there is a worry that if it does lead to long term negative effects (not the nut job stuff) then I don’t want to live with the guilt that I forced it on him in some way. I’m sure he’ll have it, if offered, but I’m just being honest in saying I have more worries/doubts over him getting it than I did about myself or his mother. What approach would you suggest GFers?2 points

Anyone who has decided to change sex from a man to a woman should not be allowed to enter competitive female sport. They can have their own category. That just leaves an enormous grey area for the various other mixed or double sexy people. Who, let’s be honest, have got bigger things to worry about. Sorted.2 points

Ive got hold of an old mate. He confirmed Andrew was his mate, I wasn't sure if it was Andrew he spoke of with such affection but I guessed it was.. I was a kid living with my auntie in Aigburth at the time and my mate used to come up and see me aa he was from S Wales. Him and Andrew "Divvy" were both students at Manchester Uni; ( not Sheffield as I thought) they knocked about together, going fishing, going partying, going to football. I remember seeing my mate after he'd been to see Andrew in the hospital you speak off in Sheffield, my mate came back looking numb, like a ghost, we all just left him alone; what can you say? My mates a Cardiff City supporter, followed them thick and thin from year dot, mad as a hatter. God bless you mate. He's put his own little tribute on their own forum,; https://www.ccmb.co.uk/showthread.php?449515-Rest-In-Peace-Divvy-Andrew-Devine-Hillsborough2 points
