  3. It's mad, despite winning the cl, world club championship and premiership, as a liverpool fan you still always feel like you've got a piano hanging over your head.

  6. I agree with that. Refs are generally shit but they're defo made to look worse by the way they are assessed and how they therefore feel they need to officiate games. I'd love to know what Oliver thinks about how that Pickford incident went down, because he is a good ref and he saw what happened. For whatever reason he didn't show a red card and then after that he was unable to, which made him look a twat. It's not a co-incidence for me that when the Richarlison tackle happened he couldn't get his red out quick enough. Mike Riley was a terrible ref, an equally bad human being and I hate his stupid baby bird face.

  8. I think Eminem is brilliant and did wonderful things for Rap, moving it forward when it started to get formulaic. His themes are much more varied than the typical "bang bang, hoe, n***a, gettin' paid" shit that preceded him. But he's up against Marvin Gaye. The impact that Gaye had on music and African American society in general at that time cannot be overstated. "What's going on" is an absolute masterpiece of social commentary, carried by an amazing voice. It's still relevant today. Amazing artist. Here he is Acapella.

  9. Surely there must be a way to deep freeze all the oldies, sorry Stringy? Put them all in massive warehouse freezers and thaw them out when the virus has vanished If some of them don't make it then that's a price they'll just have to pay so we can all get back to commuting 2 hours a day, spending cash on overpriced shit at Costa and not having to wear a mask for 5 minutes, which, is the worst thing in the world and an affront to all our hard earned liberties

  10. What the fuck has £12bn gone on?! Its a fucking app and a call-centre of people calling people up. What do the consultants do???? 7k a day????? I've never seen one or heard from one once. I got a couple of phone calls off test & trace neither of who were aware I was already positive, neither had the same dates I'd been told when I got the positive result. They were basic level script-readers who both said they only have whats in-front of them as info. They only asked about body temperature, not any other symptoms they just didn't care. A fuck load of people have got very very rich off all of this and yet again this will get swept under the carpet. You've got the PM in PMQ's today yet again lying through his teeth (This time blaming Sadiq Khan for cost hikes because TFL are losing money) as if he is ever going to allow a proper inquest. Its all well and good the Guardian or the Independent having articles informing us but when the DM, the BBC, Sky News and the s*n dont hammer home this scandal nobody en masse knows or gives a fuck because its all "woke lefties" trying to politically point score during a national crisis therefore they are the bad guys. Johnson every week "question yes or no PM?" "Last week he said this this week he says that the leader of the opposition doesn't know what he's doing" repeat to fade. Where is the impartial nation-wide platform? Laura Kuensberg was just on politics today faking dismay at a tory saying they wont back-track on school dinners for hungry kids over xmas not doing what she should be doing and sitting there pointing out the lies the PM has just less than an hour before she was on told in PMQ's. The chief political correspondent is on of their biggest mouthpieces. I'd like to switch off. I'd like to ignore the news. I'd like to let it wash over my head and just deal with the cards dealt to me personally but then I remember Phil Collins not making the top 64 and feel the need to call my TV/ some cunt on the DM comments section / a tory cunt on twitter a fucking horrible cunt. People talk about mental health and the impact covid and restrictions are going to have on people. It's these fucking cunts that are doing the damage. Thick 'I'm alright jack' wankers clouding the reality, a government not knowing its arse from its fucking elbow and a media driven campaign to confuse people into casting the blame everywhere but on the sleazy corrupt cunts who've been handed the keys to our physical, financial and mental welfare. Covid deniers like people on different political spectrums are more interested in making sure they or their side are correct that they are ignoring facts put in-front of them. "Boris just lied about the mayor of London in PMQ's" "Oh he is under a lot of pressure, it isn't lies, leave I'm done its your party who are making things worse" "Lockdowns don't work, prove me wrong I'll wait" "Ok here is a scientific study signed off by 50 top qualified people full of statistics proving a case where lockdown absolutely worked" "I'm not engaging with a two year old" It is 50/50 right now the reason why this country is in such a fucking shit state. 50% the governments greedy corrupt fault and 50% brainwashed selfish dickheads following their own narrative and not stopping to see the bigger picture or try and use a smidgeon of humility just because they cant be seen to be wrong. Never has the phrase "Stop the world I want to get off" been more apt than right now.

  11. Thanks for all your good wishes. I’m having a fabulous birthday week in the Lake District. I’d not been away since February and thought I was ok with that but getting away has felt like such a treat. I’ll be back to rep everyone once I’ve been recharged

  13. Boris was assimilated into the covid when he had it, like when Picard became Locutus. Now he can speak to the covid which is why he's warned it off gyms and told it not to bother schools. He struck a deal with it to leave the south alone and only hit those pesky cities that don't vote for the Tories up North. He speaks to it via 5G with his Huawei phone.

  15. All well and good moaning, but the English love this, they love getting done over by their kleptoctatic overlords. It's in the national psyche down here. They positively revel in 'doffing the cap', 'musn't grumble', 'knowing your place'. I come across them all the time, "we must work with the resources we have", "is there a cost saving in this", "we will need to financially justify this" why? Do you think the cunts with the scrooge McDuck vaults in the Caymans, Isle of Man, Jersey, Turks and Caicos and the like think like this? The impact of the pandemic might change things, but prior to it Johnson, Cummings, Rees-Moog, Anthony Bamford, Peter Hargreaves and Lubov Chernukhin could have smeared their own faecal matter on the doorsteps of everyone in the midlands and home counties before the election and it wouldn't have mattered.

  16. It feels wrong, but I increasingly care less about how things feel. I've had enough of shit-munching peasants hurling abuse about Heysel, Hillsborough, Slippy G etc etc ad infinitum, but when it comes to it, they're only too happy to ride our coat-tails to broadcast riches that, quite frankly, their own level of support doesn't come anywhere near to justifying. With this, and Big Picture, it seems the crime of clubs like United and Liverpool is to know their value to the league and to try to assert it. How many people do we think paid 15 quid to watch West Brom v Burnley on pay per view? Now how many do you think would pay it to watch Liverpool v United? Without the big clubs the West Hams and Fulhams and Evertons of the world have NOTHING. No product, no money, no anything. Fuck them in their ears. I'm through with having to pretend that these no-marks are our peers, I'm done with the disrespect, the deliberate attempts to injure our players. They had it and they blew it. The golden geese are flying off and they're taking their golden eggs with them.

  18. Wasn’t vintage, but...I’ve seen us look worse at full strength in plenty of easier European away games over the last couple of seasons. Get Alisson back, stop him from injuring himself all the time and I have a feeling we’ll be fine - even more so when Thiago returns.

  28. It depends on the type and location of the cancer, with Lymphoma. If it is near to the spine then the risk of transfer to the brain becomes more likely. Mine was on the adrenal glands and near to the spine, and it required ten really fucking uncomfortable intrathecal lumber punctures - spinal taps! Horrible, but necessary to track for any possible spread. The good thing there was the Dude's really positive attitude towards it: you need a bit of that.
