  1. Good news. Spoke to the Doctor and the cancer had not spread as far as they had thought, the tissue was inflamed not cancerous. The cancer has been downgraded from 3 to 2 and she may not need Chemotherapy but will have Radiotherapy. Thanks again for all the kind words people. Love you all.

  9. Credibility? It’s a bands tournament on the GF! People are voting for their favourites, it’s supposed to be fun, some light entertainment.

  11. Maybe the Tories should consider the price of refugees when they are selling bombs to countries who create these refugees. Don't facilitate the bombing of Yemen and chances are the people won't want to pack up and treck thousands of miles from home. Countries like Britain that colonised poor nations for hundreds for years should take genuine refugees until the country is bursting at the seams. If they hadn't pilfered the resources of half the globe then maybe we wouldn't have these issues?

  14. I think the question is if we believe his value is going to depreciate further next season because he’d be getting less opportunities with Thiago in the team and Keita, unlike most of our other midfielders, isn’t a versatile player. He doesn’t have the disciplined and awareness to play DM for example. He doesn’t have the pace to play wide, or the goals to play forward. Look, I certainly wouldn’t campaign for it, but I wouldn’t be at al surprised if he was the one ‘sacrificed’.

  19. Let's say we sign a player for £50m on a 5-year contract. That £50m would be written off in the books over those 5 years, thus reducing the player's book value by £10m each year. If after 2 years we sell the player for £40m, we will have made a £10m profit on his sale because he was worth £30m on the books at that point. It's one of the reasons some deals drag out for longer than expected (looking from the outside as we all do), because the selling club will only countenance a deal once the date has passed their financial year end, thus allowing them to include the write down and post a profit on the sale in the next set of accounts.

  22. Mad the way people still talk as if Keita has been playing like De Bruyne in our midfield for the past 2 years. In reality he’s played a very minor role while 3 or 4 of the midfielders ahead of him have been vital in us winning the champions league and premier league. I wouldn’t be surprised if this is bullshit from Bayern to be honest. Yesterday we needed to move quickly because City were about to swoop and today they’re probably trying to smoke City out. There’s a lot coming from their side because they’re clearly shitting themselves about losing him for nothing.

  25. That Santo Domingo is one bitter twat. Every day he was moaning about the league restarting and saying the fans will murder more people. Truly sad pathetic bastard who thrives on misery and hate. Hope he reads this board so he knows I think he's a cunt.

  26. that's great news. Found out my mates sister died of breast cancer last year. We don't see each other often other than the odd night out so I'd no idea. I messaged him as he'd deleted Facebook then last week started a new one as he's doing a fundraiser for her. She was only 41 with 3 kids. A non smoking tee total nurse just shows how un predictable this disease is.

  30. I really don't agree. He advocates free healthcare for a start. I would say he has his own views and avoids being pigeonholed. I love his podcasts. Some random shit on there. I listened to one with a guy called David Choe last week. It started slowly, but after about half an hour it became compulsive listening. A fascinating guy, with a great story and some very real mental health problems.

  32. The premier league teams with new stadiums in the last 20 years. Progressed: Brighton Man City* Leicester Went backwards: Arsenal Southampton West Ham No impact yet: Spurs By the very nature they are in the championship it's fair to assign backwards to this lot: Derby Stoke Middlesbrough Wigan Hull Sunderland Reading, Cardiff and Swansea are debatable which direction their stadiums sent them. * no need to explain reasons behind the * It's not a great list to be hanging your hopes on. Brighton progressed because there was no backwards from where they were heading. Only Leicester can be pointed too as a beacon of hope.

  33. A man less classy than I, a man unmarried, without child, a low life more perverted than I might just make a comment such as, "I'd wear Nicki's arse like a snorkel after she's been twerking for 8 hours in 35 degree heat wearing a Burkini." Good job he isn't here.

  35. I agree. Can you understand why it's a bit unfair for posters to make out posters like me are asking for a sugar daddy then? We all want the same thing. Reasoned, calculated and moderate investment. Some of us are just more skeptical of our owners doing what is required to make that happen - based on previous windows...

  37. It's fine with me mate! You're the one complaining about something you have full control in not being irked about =D Look, as an aside. I do also appreciate the covering of all ground is tiresome. But I think some of that is born out of frustration. Sometimes people just come on here to vent, so that's probably the 'chaff' you're talking about. I do find odd the hostility aimed towards those who want more investment. They're only desperate for it because they want us to be dominant, have a dynasty and give Klopp every chance of winning every fucking thing possible because we know how brilliant he is. We all want the same thing in the end...

  38. @Sugar Ape Yeah but I don't really read his take on it, I don’t really think he's qualified to have an opinion on most of it, but he does post obscure links to studies/news stories which I'll click on and then make my own judgement based on who's saying it. There's a site called just give me positive news or something and I do the same with that. It's basically just a collection of positive stories on covid from other sources. If it's from reuters or the likes I'll read it, if it's a random WordPress site I'll skip it. I think it's very important to balance all the negative shite because in the clickbait news world, fear sells.

  40. It’s not cancel culture. Are you going to be calling me a snowflake next or something? He’s not been cancelled, whatever that means, nor am I saying he should be. Anyone who I think is a right wing loon is getting everything they say viewed through that prism. If growing up means listening fairly to Katie Hopkins then I’ll pass, thanks. The whole point is no one is dealing with the ‘facts’ of the matter. It’s all just unsubstantiated theories at this point. And if I’m looking for unsubstantiated opinions on this someone like Sikora isn’t who I’d go to. And yes, I know perfectly well what immunology is. Like I said to you, is Sikora an expert on viruses? Is he an epidemiologist? He’s worked as an Oncologist for the last 40 years. There is absolutely no reason to believe his opinion holds anywhere near equal weight with people like the guy I quoted in those tweets who actually works with viruses.

Also had a message for them off Andy Robbo that I sent them in the morning. Her fella was in tears it’s his favourite player. My mum assumed it was one of my mates she had never met at first she had no idea who he was ! IMG_8513.MP4
