  1. Mrs Lurtz is currently doing a jigsaw. Oddly, as I was out with the dog a couple of days ago, I came across a jigsaw piece on the pavement, of very similar size of the pieces in her jigsaw puzzle. Needless to say I picked it up and I dropped it in amongst the pieces she's got on the table. I cannot fucking wait for her to finish it.

  3. With regards Thatcher and Hillsborough, anyone who thinks something happened on that scale with one of her MPs and police force on her watch and she didn't know, clearly wasn't around under her leadership. Of course she knew and was part of the coverup.

  4. Only just caught up with this thread. Wow. Don’t know why people are surprised at Code, it he lived here he’d be a Tory and he’s a Thatcher fan.

  5. It’s my job to make people well. I wouldn’t wish death on him. If he were a patient under my care he would get the same treatment as anyone else. I wouldn’t pose in a newspaper holding up a placard saying “get well soon Boris” to a man who applauded and cheered a bill in parliament to deny me a pay rise. I don’t really see that as “fucking mental”. Quite the opposite actually.

  12. I am rapidly pro-beaner but demand a sausage breakwater. Any contamination of beans or egg with one or the other, until I determine, is a massive no no. Don't subscribe to beans in a ramekin though.

  15. Don’t want to hear any of this bollix fighting talk “we’ll win it next year.” Fuck off we’ve won it this year and we can’t let anyone take it away from us, 30 fucking years we can not even consider the possibility that this is taken away from us. I love all the cunts saying about an asterisks or how it’ll be regarded as a joke. They care more about us than their own club, it’s absolutely pathetic, they’re in a frenzy seeing decisions being made in Belgium and Scotland.Fifa and Uefa look on board with us, so have it you fucking bitter mongs.

  18. Dear Mr Jones. Why do you believe tory policies are best for a rich, first world country where a significant number of the poorest members now rely on food banks? Why are the tories obsessed with making the very wealthy wealthier and everybody else poorer? Why does your party hate the idea of free education and health to everybody regardless of financial status? How come highly paid education produces such stupid and ignorant people? Why do they hate Merseyside so much? Do you really believe its the politicians dictating government policy or their wealthy donors, who coincidentally seem to benefit from such policies? Looking forward to your answers. Oh,and Yer ma.'

  23. ive been at home with my kids for 3 weeks now while the missus works from home upstairs. So im basically confined to the downstairs of the house. At this stage id let Joseph Fritzel look after my kids, never mind Mr Tumbles. Plus Tumbles is pretty good, and im even starting to enjoy Justins House...........how fucking sad is that. Oh, and for anyone with kids, Biggleton, i dont mind it, but i hate that kid, Bobby The Vet. He's a such a smug little shit.

  26. Another dirty pro-beaner emerges from the squalid depths of the internet. I remember the good times when beaners were too ashamed to do anything but lurk and now they somehow feel they’ve got a right to express an opinion. Brexit, Boris and the virus have destroyed decent society

  29. Couple of things on the telly tonight that may be of interest and worth recording. BBC Four @ 22:00 The Horizon Guide to Pandemic. In the wake of the swine flu outbreak, virologist Dr Mike Leahy uses over 50 years of BBC archive to explore the history of pandemics - infectious diseases caused by bacteria, viruses and parasites.Inspired by the Horizon back catalogue, he tells the extraordinary story of smallpox, one of the most violent killers in history, as well as the success of mass vaccination and the global politics of malaria. Through the lens of television the programme charts our scientific progress from the early steps in understanding AIDS to the code-cracking of SARS and deadly predictions of bird flu. Each pandemic episode tells us something about the world and our place within it. In his journey through the ages Dr Leahy charts science's ongoing battle with nature and questions which one is winning. CH4 +1 @ 22:00 Coronavirus: How Britain Is Changing. This Dispatches documentary investigates how the coronavirus outbreak is changing Britain in the long term, for better or worse, and from a fall in pollution to economic policy. CH4 + 1 @ 12:45 am A Day in the Life of Coronavirus Britain. How does the UK function under the shadow of the coronavirus? This documentary, shot over 24 hours, touches on the funny and the poignant, and gauges the impact of CV19 on the country.

  34. I don't think people realise how strong Leeds look circa 2002. Massive spenders, CL semi finalists, title challenges. Within 12 months they were in the start of a death spiral. The Leeds scenario for them is at the extreme end. I don't think they get there. They could easily end up where they were at with H & G though. American owners, potentially in negative equity with their broad holdings, sourcing the main part of liquidity outside the US to keep their portfolio alive. Unlike H & G more legal protection, more savvy and ultimately far less people wanting to invest in football meaning that that same sort of austerity doesn't go on for 1 or 2 years but 5+ years. Ultimately it was the last financial crash that facilitated Liverpool going from Big spenders, with a massive ground on Stanley Park, to Roy Hodgson and administration (while sitting in the bottom 3). Had FSG not emerged then, they'd have got relegated over the next 18 months. This is a similar risk for Arsenal and United in different ways too. Liverpool though have a huge wage cost to pay, players on massive contracts on the assumption their nerds will make them money on those players. If values collapse, and nobody can pay their wages, never mind the stupid fees they want, there is a huge pinch point. I have warned about this for some time as well. In truth the way they were going, the pinch point didn't need to be anywhere near as severe as this to cause problems. They were gambling massively with the wage bill they had, and the incentivised sponsorships. Thats about to go pop. There wage bill is a higher percentage with less turnover and profit. Not like a bluenose to talk shite. They have loads of shite they cannot shift too. No mention from this regularly wrong lying chicken raping twat.

  36. I've gone for something I was listening to over the weekend... "This Was" by "Jethro Tull" They've got better albums than this but I like the full on blues aspect of this one before they had a change of line up and went in a more pure folk rock/prog direction. I especiall y love "Cat's Squirrel" - enjoy.

In the garden yesterday and good blue neighbours lads were out playing footy ( from a safe distance) I asked them about the footy, they couldn’t raise anything other than the league should end for safety, what about the money lost I said? They took their ball home. They are 16 and 18 and odd, not very social. We call them Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Don’t Make Eye Contact.
