  1. This little bunny rabbit stray was being ignored hanging around the restaurant in Koh Samui yesterday. Not on my watch. Took me the best part of an hour but I got there in the end. The upper pic is when I put her back down as we were leaving...

  3. Suzy it's PED's and corruption. Also Justice for the 96 is in bad taste and cheapens those lives lost but justice for the 39 in spite of no explanation as to what that justice should be or what the fuck it's got to do with Everton other than being weaponised as a way to attack Liverpool is all class and dignity.

  4. @rb14 cheers man appreciate your post. I come on here because its a great way to vent, and not to carry it offline around my family. I'm frustrated at this team, firstly, when we were on our unbeaten run, it wasn't all wine and roses and this team has proved its capable of playing some blistering football that can put most teams to the sword, but we haven't been doing that, in fact it seems as if its fallen off Jurgen radar. We have players who play on instinct up front and it would help if we let them off the leash once in a while. The other frustration I have is the lack of team management, we play the same team constantly bar possibly one switch, which is all fine and good until you need the fringe players to step in and contribute. Its little wonder, Origi, Minimino, Lallana and co are quite ineffective at times, they just don't get the chance to really bed into the team. Finally we have stopped competing. We competed first half last night, then gave up. Wheres the fight? As a team we need to fight dirty at times and let the opposition know we won't be bullied, but we are too nice. Madrid is case in point, we allowed them to bully us and drag us down to their level with their antics. Im hoping we pick up from saturday, start pressing and forcing defences into mistakes and add some real intensity to our game and to our players, especially our front three who really need a jolt back into form.

  6. Staggered by stuff this thread. Good grief. Some of our posters have been called "pessimists", "ev supporters", "negative cunts" or worse. Is there really any need? Continually being positive is admirable, but who brought in a rule that says you can't be negative in adversity? And most of what has been said hasn't even been negative. It's a perspective and I believe we're entitled to them. You don't get top superfan points by being eternally positive. Nor should you become the whipping boy for stating how you see it if it's negative. Watford was crap. Most of this game was crap. We've been crap since (I think actually before) the "break". If being crap isn't grounds for alarm bells, what is? After Watford, Lovren got slaughtered relentlessly on the match thread, almost total assassination (you'll never walk alone). You could count the posts defending him on no fingers. In the Watford match report @dave uopined that singling-out Lovren was more than a little unjustified. I think I saw* only @Bob Spunkmouse dissent. I don't recall seeing anyone neg Dave or Bob's very well-argued reply. I'm not going back to check but I'm pretty sure @TheDrowningMan and @BeefStroganoff (to name but two) have as much right as anyone else to post what they think. Neither comes across to me as anything other than a Liverpool supporter. But they most often get their opinion battered. It's almost like a mob mentality. Why? Is it because they're not as eloquent as Dave or Bob? Crime of the century. Is it because they're pessimists? Burn the heretics. Disagree with them by all means, but negging them? Really? *If you didn't read Dave's take on Lovren, there's still time. If you didn't read it because you've not paid your subs, shame on you.

  13. Well, I just checked. Keita has played 368 minutes in the league this season. Exactly the same amount as current paper mache midfielder Adam Lallana. Legendary sick note Daniel Sturridge played more in each of his last three seasons. That is fucking bad.

  31. We spent the Atletico game and much of last night playing it across the field in front of a packed opposition defence. Once they had the lead, Lampard copied Simeone's homework in denying us width. It's surprising that it took so long for us to be confronted with this approach - it's not like Robertson and Trent have flown under the radar over the last two years. Ox and the woefully inconsistent Keita would potentially offer a more central option to attack (each with a different approach), but we didn't have either last night.

  32. You are correct, the average for Berine is 5% points and for Biden is 5.4%, due to his recent bump. Biden won Texas, which is huge for both campaigns. It seems most peoples priority is beating Trump and that gave Biden a huge surge. The narrative from the majority of pundits and DMC leaders is Biden is electable and Sanders is not, despite the polling, it ultimately becomes a self fulfilling prophecy. I believe that Biden would just be a rerun of 2016 and Trump would destroy him on the debates and at the election. Sanders would beat Trump from the populist left and counter the populist right arguments/lies of Trump. Obviously I am bias, so a lot of people will see the exact opposite. As you say, the Democrats are now going to entrench themselves into their groups and it will be interesting to see how they attack each other going forward. The debates between Biden and Sanders will be interesting, in relation to who is best to go against Trump.

  33. Madness. We've only just ended a period in which we won one trophy in 12 years (or maybe no trophies, since it was "only" the League Cup) and suddenly we can be so blasé - so "I wouldn't get out of bed for anything less than the Champions League" - that we're comparing the oldest and greatest domestic cup competition in the world to the fucking Lancashire Senior Cup.

  34. Linders said intensity is our identity, recently the opposition has shown more intensity. Forget this game but do we need a new approach, to over simplify it have we be found out, I'm not on about the results but the performances previous to the losses. It just feels like the opposition's game plan is better than ours. It doesn't help when top players are out of form screwing up very basic play.

  36. Gutting when that happens at a gig but at least you seen around half the set. I’ve got tickets for Manchester on Saturday so suppose that could be called off. 50/50 whether I make that anyway as I’ve been sick as a dog since the weekend (flu symptoms so it’s possible I’m about to drop dead of Coronavirus), if I’m not feeling better by Thursday I was going to see if anyone on here wanted the tickets gratis, have to collect them from me like.

  37. Basically, opposition finishing has turned from absolutely awful to absolutely amazing. Not to say that 26 wins out of 27 in the league was built like a house of cards on a waterbed, but our win record did not reflect our performances and now the luck has shifted. Two things stand out the most tonight: The giveaways of possession were absolutely criminal. It's impossible to defend when you give the ball away as much and in the areas of the pitch we did. And secondly, we somehow managed to out-naive Chelsea, the most naive team in the league, by far. Astounding.

  38. Shit night all round. Saw him at the Bournemouth O2 tonight. Truly beautiful stuff. The richness and depth in the man’s voice alone were just out of this world. Had a backing singer who’s power reminded me of Clare Torrey’s vocal parts on Dark Side of the Moon. All told shaping up to be a top 20 gig of all-time absolute minimum. Had it continued as it began for the first 7 or 8 songs, likely comfortably in my top 10. Only time I’ve ever been to the venue and it be fully sold out...absolute sardines and could barely see the stage. Went up to the first floor to try for a better view, via the bar, and during the walk heard his voice spack out a bit at the start of a song, then vaguely heard him saying something about needing 5 minutes. Bit of confusion reigned and eventually the whole backing band trooped back out together, the lass with the amazing voice confirming he wasn’t going to be able to continue as he was very unwell but had just tried to push through. Real, real shame. Some middle-aged prick stood next to me immediately started raging about it being “A fucking swizz”. Some cunts really are beyond help. Can only say if that was him ill and with a voice on the verge of totally breaking down throughout, I can only imagine the quality when he’s on top form. Truly sublime but cut down 48 minutes in. To cap it off, caught the result of the other on someone else’s phone as I left, having left mine at home by mistake and missed some of my oldest mates in there. Will have to catch him again next time and hope for better luck, but would thoroughly recommend him live to anyone even based on the above.

  39. We‘re going to be Premier League Champions. Even Assuming the worst, in the return leg, that we can’t come back against Athletico, we will still be English Champions, European Champions and World Club Champions, for a period time. What’s not to love about that? Next season is going to be a seriously interesting season. Klopp has to get the squad motivated again like Guardiola had to this season at City. That’s life in the fast lane folks. No sit downs, no let ups. Lampard will have settled in at Chelsea, Arsenal looking to rebound, Mourinho desperate at Spurs to show he’s not finished. United slowly coming together, whether we like it or not. Fuck me next season is going to be huge. Just like the good old days.

  40. Play him down the middle and he's a different player. Seen plenty of games where Bobby's done fuck all yet Origi doesn't get a chance there, and when he does one of Mane or Salah get played in the middle and Origi is stuck bizzarely on the left. The odd game he plays in the middle he usuall6 has a blinder e.g. against the blues but then you don't see him again for months.
