That's on Klopp. They were there for the taking and he basically put us a man down by bringing Sturridge on. The game was crying out for a bit of guile from the midfield. Shambles. Fucking shambles.

Has any set of supporters ever felt so bad going to of the league? We didn't deserve to win but not to lose either. Sturridge sub was weird. Keita was badly missed as at least he drives at teams and would have loved the open spaces afforded our players today. Not great but we need to get this lethargy out of our system especially going forward. Very very frustrating but it's a point more than what we had and that's our hardest game let out of the way. Fuck me, supporting us is hard work.

It's like Soccer Aid this. A quick 20 minute cameo and you're off. We'll bring the drummer from McFly on next.

My missus unexpectedly went into labour during a party. Three weeks early. I was seriously pished at the time. I still remember the mother-in-law wartching at the window, tears in her eyes - as her daughter drove herself to hospital in labour pains, with me lolling about in the passenger seat grinning and trying but failing to stick the seatbelt in something. It went from bad to worse as I wore a bedpan as a stetson - in my drunken state I thought the humour might lessen the pains of labour (<sigh> - i know). Then I used up all the gas & air. We don't speak much about that day to be honest. Not footy related but |I thought I'd share anyway.

Doesn’t seem to have been mentioned much but he clearly blanked Klopp when he got subbed off. A bit billy big bollocks for me. Klopp didn’t take kindly to it and it looked like he told him if he had an issue with it now wasn’t the time to be showing it. I said it in the match thread if you’re going to act like that you better be an indispensable player. He’s nowhere near that. I hope Klopp pulls his pants down and takes the captaincy off him.

Keita didn’t start because he’s a fucking liability defensively. The game was basically gone the second Klopp decided Sturridge should be the replacement for Firmino. Absolute howler of a decision. I don’t know how many games Klopp can watch him singlehandedly destroy our attack and still think he’s a viable option.

Sturridge should never play for us again, woeful

Klopp’s inadequate use of substitutions is a real issue for us.

They've got Vidic in the studio. I'd be tempted to point behind him and shout "Torres!" and watch him shit himself.

De Gale needs to get out of it before somebody parts his from his senses permanently. He looked gun shy and as awkward as I've seen him and he just didn't have the power to keep Junior off him. Eubank was content to work for the first and last 30 seconds of each round, which allowed De Gale to hear the final bell. I wasn't sure how good Eubank would be at 168 before the fight. The answer post-fight is 'good enough to beat De Gale who is finished'. He shouldn't be getting any notions above himself after that fight mind, that was nowhere near World standard.

I agree mate same as Man Utd, Arsenal and Liverpool dont have a God given right to be above us. But do you really think their owners and fanbase would accept clubs like Everton being 10 points above them in the table for 1-2 seasons whilst they edge towards 11/12th spot? Negged for “math”.

Fuck it. We got our worst away game that we had left out of the way and we’ve still got a slim advantage. A few twists and turns left in this yet. Put it behind us and onto the next game.

Mr. Becker disapproves of this post.

Anyone know when he's back in the side?

Sub Salah off. He’s been a liability today.

Hopefully that’s the captaincy situation dealt with. He completely blanked Klopp coming off there. Klopp let him know about and he clearly shit himself. If you’re going to act the billy big bollocks you better be indispensable and he certainly isn’t that.

Sorry if this has been posted somewhere already but what a great interview. Mo is sound as fuck. Loved this interview and hope he manages us one day the beautiful human being. Oh and I have got beard envy. He shaved it to the skin 2 weeks ago. It takes me 6 months to get that bastard.

Fair play to Eubank getting a convincing win, on the other hand DeGale looked every inch a shot fighter and always wanted to hold after throwing single shots from round 1. However, I did love how he celebrated landing the last punch of the contest on the bell in the “next goal wins” style of every kid sneaking a late consolation during a thrashing ever.

Because if they are level with us on points and games played, then we're out of it?

My missus was in labour back in 2009, we made our way to the Womens Hospital not long after our game against them finished 4-1, then came the arrival of my son. What a day.
