Getting away with crimes that everyone agrees you committed does make you a great politician.

No man - that makes you a smooth criminal. In the same way getting away with those same doesn't make you a great realtor or a great middle manager.

Getting legislation passed that not everyone agrees with would make you a good politician.

I wouldn't go that far. This is the cunt that 'got Brexit done' after all.

Here is an example of what would make him a great politician - don't hold your breath:

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson on Saturday vowed to make developing countries less dependent on China economically, as he met five MPs sanctioned by China a day earlier.

"The prime minister talked about exploring ways towards alleviation programs to offset the level of dependency on China through the Belt and Road initiative," a politician who attended the meeting at No 10 Downing Street said.

Johnson's remark on Beijing's multi-billion-dollar investment and infrastructure scheme was described as "unprompted."

A woman who claimed she had an affair for four years with the current Prime minister and also recieved a fortune in payments for her business and its barely scratched the surface of any of the media sites aside from the Mirror, even the guardian the only mention seems to be a cartoon about having an affair with the flag. Could you imagine if this was Starmer. Remember the shit about Corbyn and Abbot. The tories are never held to account, its fucking infuriating that the opposition don't even bother too anymore.

I really don't understand the reticence of Labour to get down and dirty , there is plenty of ammunition and one thing Starmer has going for him seems to be his squeaky cleanness. Corbyn's ' we go high ' bollocks at the last election was fucking infuriating in head to heads while Johnson was shouting all over him and blathering shit.

Johnson's shagging exploits with Arcuri plastered all over the front page of the DM today.   I can't imagine the Tory power-brokers are going to tolerate the hapless buffoon for too much longer. Gove hasn't been seen in ages and as someone neatly put it the other day he's either being groomed for knifing him in the back again or it's the egg laying part of his life cycle.

I've just looked I was surprised to see it. The headline is gentle comparative to how it would treat others. Love cheat Boris betrays wife and family would of been more apt.

It’s ok the Boris Arturi “affair” has been put to bed by Allegra Stratton ...The Allegra Stratton who is married to The Spectators political editor , the commissioning editor of The Spectator is married to Dominic Cummings ,,The Spectator is part of Press Holdings whose chairman is Andrew Neil who is about to start up GB News and is owned by the Barclay Brothers who don’t pay any tax....

It’s like recurring right-wing nightmare as the people that voted for him forgive him as they are complicit in his lies and don’t want to admit they fucked up

She can’t honestly believe this shite or more likely doesn’t care ..

Allegra Stratton says of Johnson: "He does believe in the wider principles of integrity and honesty. "He acts with integrity and honesty and he follows the Nolan principles when conducting himself in public life".

To be honest I thought the Nolan Principles was a new album

Im not really up to date with that story but is the jist of it Dyson wanted to make ventilators but only if he could pay less tax doing so.

Kind of.

Other companies could have done it and had the facilities and capabilities, these were ignored because Dyson had been brought in to the loop. Who contacted who first is the problem as if we approached him fine needs must, but his response should have been we don’t have capacity, sorry, if we can help in any other way let us know? If he approached us and had a direct line to the PM which is not recorded or has a secretary witness its in breach of the ministerial code and, let’s face it, shady.

He then sends Alex messages  to clarify position on tax after claiming he had a production line ready to go, in the UK. He did not. What he did have was a management team he wanted flown in to oversee a project which would prove unsuccessful, though this could have been shown previously as these are complicated machines and not just a production line reconfiguration.

So, it looks like it’s jobs for the boys, with little chance of return, tax exemption and a down payment from the public purse all done through text messages. How many more of these types of conversation occurred is the bigger question.

Cummings used to insist on an inner circle of ministers having burner phones, so the fix has been in for a while.

Being a key Brexit support, who as soon as it happened moved his staff and production away from his base, is purely coincidental I’m sure.

Turned out we didn’t need them in the end as Germany donated a load of their surplus as they hadn’t driven down capacity with years of needless austerity.

Greta Thunberg immediately changes her twitter handle to take the piss out of our dear leader  We're a nation of goons to be ridiculed, ah gawd wheres my union jack?
