Guess you can tell Boris is back. All we need now is to fuck us up with the league and call his lad Kenny and his work is done

From Chippy Tits Twitter page...

Absolutely galling to learn Liverpool has had a 32% cut in funding support from the government. once again poorest cities and towns in the UK being shafted, while leafy shires less affected by COVID19 are showered with riches, average 2000% increase. This is a national scandal.

Boris: We're doing great!  All of the other countries are envious of our apparent success!

Reporter: How do you think the first wave has gone compared to other countries?  Those graphs don't look too clever.

Boris: Unfair!  We can only judge it at the end of the pandemic.

Dr Jenny Harries: We are an international exemplar in preparedness.

Reporter: How do you explain the high death toll compared to other countries?

Boris: That's unfair!

Willy Johnson. It’s gonna be tough for the boy with a name like that and an absent father.

Ridiculous name, though it sets him up nicely for a career singing Bluegrass.

The S*n sales are dwindling. They are one of Bojo‘s biggest supporters and will be, unfortunately, hugely influential in how the public views the governments handling of the epidemic. Assuming they are still running come the next election, next round of Brexit shit, will be influential again.

Giving them the exclusive today, so they can continue to spew his bullshit propaganda, is almost as shameless & transparent as using his days old son naming for political gain.

I wouldn't get to hopeful about the rags dwindling print sales. It happening to all the papers. It's just a case of people moving with the times as the digital era takes over and it's only going to get worse as the older generation die off. If it weren't for my dad, the echo wouldn't come into this house. The same can be said for the mirror on Saturday's.

The digital media is a way more dangerous tool. The likes of Murdoch can put out as much poison as they want, whereas with a print version there's only so much bile they can squeeze onto a page before it becomes even less cost effective.

The rag is a loss leader for Murdoch.

People walk past a newsstand, see the front page every day - they don't have to necessarily buy it - for some of his shit to still seep in.

Yep.

Whenever I used to go into the shop I’d pick up half a dozen copies of the Western Daily Press and throw it on top of the rag.

I don’t know anyone apart from my Nan that read the Western Daily Press.

Do you think The Sun's lack of influence in Liverpool has changed the psyche of the city. Liverpool seems to be on a different wave length to most.

I don’t live in the city, never have.

I’d let others comment on that but I’d suggest being a port city with all that comes with that helps to be more accepting and outward looking.

I'd say the era of Tory governments that started with Thatcher has more to so with it than the rag.

There's other cities that where fucked by Thatcher but as union jack today as ever.

Liverpool has always been very influenced by Irish and Welsh culture and immigration too. Probably a larger catholic population for example than many British cities too.
