I agree.

Not a fan of Javid, he's a cunt, but at least he didn't throw his staff to the dogs. Mind you, could be a career move behind it when Johnson implodes, which is very likely due to the fact he's the Ole of politics. Johnson was once described as having no interest in a job which holds responsibility, he just enjoys the chase. Kind of coming to fruition, as Cummings pulls the strings.

Johnson is a proper entitled narcissist as well, think he’s always believed he was destined for the job as a right.

the fact he got it just shows how fucking greedy / stupid the members of the Tory party (and later the electorate) are who voted him in.

Our new Attorney General has previously stated the following:-

1. Human Rights Law should be based upon the collective traditional values of society not individual rights.

2. The judiciary should not be able to ensure that parliament and the government are required to comply with the rule of law.

3. Expressed support for the view that Brazilian police are justified in using torture as it provides cheaper results than a police force that does not torture.

4. Used the anti-Semitic term “cultural Marxism” which relates to a conspiracy theory that Jewish academics pushed progressive politics in the west in order to bring down western democracy.

5. The Human Rights Act needs to be limited in scope to prevent people bringing claims. Particularly in relation to the right to a private and family life.

And right on cue they've just announced their plans to keep out the forrins.

The "party of business" response to complaints from the tourism & hospitality industry, the care sector, the agricultural sector, etc, that these shit-witted hostile-environment-on-roids measures will hurt our economy is to say "business will have to adapt" - in other words, ""we're shitting on your carpet; you clean it up".

Patel just got hammered on 5 Live. Where was that from the BBC pre-election. Now that the thanks they’ve been given for their useful idiocy is that they are under attack from the government, they’ve suddenly remembered how to do their job.

They really are stupid. If they want skilled workers then they have to accept that family members might not be so skilled. If they stop people coming in then they'll end up with the skilled workers they need going to other countries to look for employment. Firms will struggle to fill the vacancies or end up with people who don't give a shit about the job they're paid to do. Patel and her like keep banging on about bringing the brightest and the best to the UK, their stance on immigrants and the sate of the country politically speaking will turn people off that idea. It really is backwards thinking.

At this point, I don't watch anything to do with British politics other than the occasional glance at the Labour leadership race. I just can't face it. It's against pretty much everything I stand for, and there's fuck all I can do to change it. That said, I just popped in to say I dislike Boris Johnson immensely.

I don't even want to look at that, these days.
