Dont disagree.

Corbyn was flawed ,I always thought the plan was to drag the party back to the left and get someone younger in to take over.

However he had more decency in his little finger than this cunt has got in his own body and didnt deserve the vitriol and bullshit which came him way(a pacifist racist terrorist sympathiser?)

As for the media turning on johnson, they have spent the last 2 years making excuses for his consistent car crashes and gaffes.

because they thought he would do the right's bidding.  What they chose to ignore (and this shows how idiotic they are) is that he will only ever do what he thinks is good for him.  He has no principles, apart from that one (if you could call that a principle).

Surely they must have knew that before he was elected?

A quick scan of his own history would tell you that.

Yes of course they did, but they knew he would win the election, and they thought they’d be able to control him.  A bit like Trump and the republicans, but for different reasons.

Then forget Owen Jones, I asking about any leftist commentator who criticises both Johnson and  his main opponent, in this case Starmer. Do they lack authenticity/credibility because they apparently don't want either in office?

It's a question that shouldn't need to be asked though. We've seen an unprecedented and unwarranted attack on anyone to the left of the party since Starmer became leader, members including the former leader have been thrown out of the party on a whim. Starmer promised unity, its all needless and depressing.

Big opportunity coming up for Labour now, this looks like it's going to go to a GE this year or next.

Can only hope that some Labour  don't derail this by calling for a new leader like Raynor.  Yes, she'd be a good leader, and yes I'd like to get a titwank off her, but now isn't the time for any of that, except the titwank.

So the man at the top,who has been there for the last 2 years, and has been caught happily breaking the rules himself,is committed to changing the culture of rule breaking?

Do people seriously swallow this bullshit?

Unfortunately yes.

Corbyn was unelectable.

As much as I'd like to have seen him in number 10, it was never possible for him to get in.  Fanatical support from the far left would be massively counterbalanced by the huge majority of centrists and right wingers in the country.  It's more likely that a unicorn would have become prime minister.

If the Chuka, Tom Watson and the parliamentary Labour Party  had done the job they were elected to do, Corbyn could have won that election.

I'm not saying he would have won, I'm saying it's extremely difficult for a Labour leader to become prime minister when mps in his own party are briefing against him.

yep.  Damn those principled MPs.  Always been an issue for the Labour Party, on both the right and the left.

Oh come on, weve never witnessed treachery of the scale Corbyn was subjected to, the chicken plot, the people who refused to sit on the shadow benches etc.. Jess Phillips even ridiculed Corbyn on the Peston show during a general election campaign, he got sucked into a pathetic leadership challenge by Andrea Eagle, Owen Smith and co, Lisa Nandy vowed to 'break him' others constantly leaked untrue stories to the media whilst many other prominent Labour mps labeled him an anti smite racist, some like John Mann have since been knighted for their work in keeping Corbyn out of power.
