Sent to Tory HR to forward to all members, employees and anyone in anyway connected to Johnson and the wider investigation...

'“You are put on notice that this is a criminal investigation,” the email said. It warned that staff who “knowingly falsify, conceal, destroy or otherwise dispose of information” … “could be committing a criminal offence of perverting the course of justice”.

I assume it's standard practice, but I can hear some knives being sharpened and deals being struck.

There were floods of complaints for Corbyn, it's just the right are better at moral outrage and false equvalency, so get a bigger hearing, there is of course confirmation bias linked in to this as well though so we'll only respond to that which emotionally resonates.

I think it was Putin who is on record as saying 'The truth doesn't matter, only the story about it you tell' or something of the sort.

Helps that the BBC has been gutted of Blairs people now and stuffed with ideologically corrupted Tory shills.

I think the difference was that the complaints re Corbyn were basically patronised and ignored , whereas they are rolling over for any Tory complaints.

The media has an awful lot of enablers for the right wing.

Laura's latest article on the BBC....

She appears to be attempting to justify and excuse that Boris is a pathological liar. We just don't understand him. It's gaslighting of the highest order.

Can you imagine her writing a similar soft soap article about Corbyn?

Global Britain sailing the Seven Seas signing trade deals with our former colonies in a vessel built for the 1880s while millions struggle to pay bills sounds about par for the course.

A perfect example of the kind of self-important cynical journalism that has enabled people like Trump and Johnson to thrive. It's an absolute disgrace to the once proud standard of the BBC.

Well, this is all rather sinister.

Sorry, for those not familiar Lavrov was implicated in US election meddling and is a prominent figure in the UK investigation in to election irregularities here, the report on which the Tories are being very clandestine about.

As opening gambits go it's fucking odd.
