The baby boomers who mostly vote Tory owe everything they probably have to socialism. Free university, job for life, gold plated pension, affordable housing, false hips and enough insulin to sink an oil tanker. Twats.

Some might say that, in the wake of shootings across the world and previous murdered and/or attacked politicians in this country, it might not be a great idea to talk about assassinations and pumping him full of lead. I despise the guy, but... I also want to live in a land where our politicians aren't murdered.

I want to live in a land where our politicians can be trusted, can be ousted when misbehaving, and there is integrity around the democratic process, but you can't have everything

Just one more step towards Fascism

That was sort of my point.  We are, to all intents and purposes, living in a fascist state.  Parliament, The Courts, and the Police are all sewn up.  State and cultural institutions are in mortal danger.  Money can be spent on anything they want - or nothing, with no realistic challenge coming from anywhere.  All bets are off.  These are not normal behaviours, nor are they normal times.

I'm not killing him.  I'm not encouraging anyone to kill him.  But I'd be fucking made up if someone did, for the good of the country and democracy.

Well, me too. I’m not sure the best way to get there is murder of politicians though.

Sure, but oddly enough, a lot of people vote on local issues in local elections.

It's worth remembering how many Tory candidates had "Local Conservatives" on the ballot paper, to distance themselves from the absolute shitshow in Westminster.

Someone on Twitter has pointed out that the cunt who said that attending leaving piss-ups was an important part of leadership swerved five COBRA meetings at the start of the pandemic.

It amazes me the amount of things like this don’t get hammered home in parliament. Starmer makes a comment then asks a long drawn out question. He should take his time and list things, destroy him then ask when he last brushed his fucking hair.

PMQ’s is about the news cycle and ‘hitting’ your points.

They have to be simple and manageable.

Anything about procedure or conventions gets people tuning out.

The day to day is where you can chip away at policy, but they are so destructive on so many fronts that were a dog chasing bits tail, and if you nail them they lie, or it has already been moved on and forgotten.

They are playing the game perfectly.

They always play the game perfectly. That's my point. Hammer it and hammer it and hammer it. MC Hammer if needs be.

With any luck he will full of lead before the next election but this be ironic!

That'll be the next rule change, you can still be a PM (or cabinet minister) even if you're not an MP.

It won’t matter because Stringvest will have assassinated him by then.

State of tory MP Richard Drax complaining the windfall tax is throwing red meat to the socialists. A man whose family fortune is traced entirely to slavery, thinks he's a step above can't be giving crumbs to the plebs those at the top of the table want those crumbs and if we don't let them keep those crumbs they may decide to starve themselves to death out of the unfairness of it.

I thought it was ironic that some Lord or Sir said the windfall tax was stealing from the rich to give to the poor. Maybe they're not keeping up with current energy prices and world events? If they were, they would wake up to the irony of this accusation.

Unless I've read it wrong it sounds like a slum landlords dream, money for every flat or house goes to owner, tenants still pay the bill.
