Serious questions need to be asked of the Met here too. I'm not one for conspiracy theories, but it's becoming hard to avoid the conclusion that they are in league with the the Tories, or Johnson at least, and conspiring to do what they can to keep him out of trouble. let's not forget that they didn't even plan to launch an investigation until the pressure mounted, despite knowing from the outset that a number of parties had taken place in and around Downing St.

I believe the reason he didn't get fined and others did is because it was his residency, it was still deemed by police to be an illegal gathering.

It's impossible to think of it happening in any walk of life. If you were seconded to, say, head of IT or HR for a month and monumentally fucked up, you wouldn't be at the head of the board in your next job, unless the firm was a complete basket case.

Looks like the 'Most Honourable' Tory Scum would tip the national averages in crime, parties and fcking lies (albeit only requires one of them to tip the scale for the latter.

 

Whether he gets away with this or not, there are a lot of angry people out there, many with really sad memories, having lost family and unable to see them in last few moments/coupled with those funerals. I do think this tightrope he continues to walk is a dangerous one, someone may take law into their own hands as they simply have enough.
