Can I just ask - who are we at war with and when did we go to war with them?

If the headline is alluding to the Russian/Ukrainian conflict then we aren’t a participant, and there is always a war on somewhere, so what difference does that make to him resigning? It hasn’t in the past.

Eastasia, we've always been at war with Eastasia!

Or is it Eurasia?

We replaced Chamberlain with Churchill in 1940 when the country was basically facing an existential crisis, never mind a war only tangentially involving us. Typical Tory bullshit that falls apart at the slightest scrutiny. Probably plays well with the red faced armchair generals in the Home Counties though.

Very true. We replaced leaders in WW1 & WW2, the Tories replaced Thatcher shortly before the Gulf war.

This is a slow burner, Boris has been fined for the birthday party where it was considered he was least likely to receive a fine. Just another five fines to go roughly spread out a month apart given the progress of the Met. Let's see where he is post the May elections, the Sue Gray report and half a dozen fines?

Personally I'm fine with him leading them into the GE in roughly 18 months time. If Labour can't win then they'll never win. It'll be fun watching the Tories trying to play the law and order card.

There’s far worse to come apparently. The flat party fine will be the one that sinks him.

Worth noting with all this talk of Tory leaders and wartime that Churchill sent roughly 3,000 men to their deaths by overriding the Admiralty and dispatching HMS Repulse and Prince of Wales to the defence of Singapore, thus ensuring they were the first capital ships sunk by air power alone on the open seas.

Wish all those cunts with flags in their stupid bios saying would read a few history books that aren’t written by Empire fantasists and apologists.

Such a pity we can't ban them from here too.

There's a Gulag waiting with their name on it

Why do Russia need to ban them? Are they going to ban Biden?

looks to me like a confirmation that Johnson was deep in Russian pockets.

Will they have to give the money back?

You mean our fine upstanding Government has been taking money and lining their pockets from a foreign power?

Never in a million years.

Wait, what?....
