He seems like a massive cunt.

He's sub-human, is Andrew Pierce.

He used to do the press round up on Sky News.  When David Cameron was about to bomb Syria, his advice was "flatten them".  Presumably by "them" he meant everyone in the county, not just IS.

He's a real pie(r)ce of work.

I find it astonishing he's not been forced out. Standards in politics have stooped so fucking low a buffoon like this can do as he pleases. There should be a point a politician falls on their sword through common decency.

Agree, time was when a politician would resign if they had an affair. Not saying that’s right either but it’s just another example of how we go from one extreme to another.

Even by its standards, the front page of the mail today is truly.breathtaking

Some tory cunt (crispin)is saying it's all being blown.out.of promotion and he was on r4 yesterday saying most people were breaking the rules anyway

It's like what happened under trump, when all standards are dropped it's pretty much open season, with pretty scary consequences.

Thankfully though, Johnson doesn't have a mob of Qanon type loyalists, which is heartening I suppose.

Patel was found to have bullied staff, standard procedure dictates that means she'll have to go, they just said "nah". I expect Johnson to be the same. When you have no shame, it's very hard to compel someone to resign.

Our whole system is built around norms and practices, but with few cast iron punitive measures for wrongdoing. It's like being caught farting in a lift; the assumption is you should get off as soon as possible in possible in embarrassment. Johnson would ride it all the way to his floor while everyone gags.

Erm what

Jacob Rees-Mogg says on

that "a change of leader requires a general election". Says UK is now effectively a "presidential system" and "the mandate is personal rather than entirely party"

That's intended as a threat to sitting Tory MP's. Remove the PM and you'll face a general election.
