One of the many people he has lied to and let down is currently being indulged in her warped perception that her life is interesting by the London Assembly.

Arcuri is playing the hits, while deliberately not confirming anything untoward, well she does have a book to hawk, it's fucking pathetic that this is the level of politics we have been reduced to.

Fuck off, all of you, cretins.

she was the closest he's ever been to actually shagging himself.  It was the high watermark (or spunkstain) of his romantic career.

What does this even mean ?

Imagine the high water mark being he didn't embarrass himself or us on his latest international tour of 'Global Britain'.

'The Prime Minster of the UK managed to tie his own shoe laces today and only spilt a little of his lunch down his shirt. Onlookers were astonished at the progress he's made since his last visit'

Outstanding managing of expectations.

Why do people tolerate this imbecile?

Oh, wheels up is another way of saying take off for the terminally stupid, so she's say they've taken off and are coming home.

What is interesting is that the domestic reporting of Johnson never really notes the fact that many in the US see him a light version of Trump and that is definitely skewing the views of the upper echelons of the Democratic party and US foreign policy towards us.

That and he's thrown insult after insult their way as a journo, cosied up to Trump and celebrated his excesses, lied repetedly on the global stage, insulted a diverse range of world leaders and countries, renaged on deals, put himself above all others and degreded the history and tradition of Blighty's standing on the world stage to the point we're seen as an obsequious laughing stock, but apart from that I don't see why any world leader would find issue with the loveable oaf?

Reach specialises in what I'd call 'anti-journalism'. There's virtually zero interest in any stories of substance, instead only in how it does online, by any means necessary. It's an upside down world at that level now, junior marketing types calling the shots and lauding the latest clickbait special about vegan pasties or some such, while reporting from town hall meetings is dismissed as 'dry and boring'. I actually hate these people, with a passion.

Any chance of an act of daily journalism?

It's a shame that there was never anything in his history before becoming prime minister that could have given some kind of inkling that he's a lying sack of shit.

But he's got funny hair! Look at it! It's funny! And he's got a funny name! I'd vote for him.

(Definitely being sarcastic just in case anyone gets the wrong idea.)

If he ‘saves’ Christmas there’s enormous capital to be gained for fixing a problem of his, and their, creation.

The general public will lap it up and forget about this clusterfuck, that’s why they’ve gone early with the save Christmas messaging as it should be reasonable to be able to do that, within reason.

Sorry @johnsusername i forgot to quote you.

That speech about climate change at the UN was purely for domestic consumption, which is why it was embarrassing. Kuenssberg doing her best stenography, she knows how her court reporting toast is buttered, there is no way this lot are not winning the next election.

All that guff about what will happen to our grandchildren might have sounded impressive 30 or 40 years ago. Today, the talk needs to be about what is happening now and (crucially) what the fuck people in power (like, y'know, the fucking Prime Minister) are doing about it.
