A clusterfuck of monumental proportions being foisted upon the world. If this is the depopulation agenda of the elite being played out then they have the best two candidates in Trump and Johnson to carry it out.

Staggering that British politics has reached such a level as this, the whole system needs burning with fire but fuck knows what you'd replace it with. At this moment in time a class of five-year-olds could probably make better decisions for the country than a cabinet of any political party.

I don't see how this pact will work. I'm fairly certain if Tories stand aside in some constituencies for the Brexit Party they'll find that a few of their more reasonable voters will cast their votes elsewhere like the Lib Dems. So not only do they not gain seats they'll potentially lose out in their more marginal constituencies.

It won't happen and is just Farage bigging himself up. There is no way local Tory parties will not field candidates.

If it were tried then Independents would stand. Of all the potential fuck ups this is the least likely

It's all bollocks. Farage has tried and failed to be elected lots of times, they'll never get enough votes for a single MP.

 

Their greatest strength for Labour is that they could take some of the Tory vote but that will only happen if Johnson rolls back on no deal.

 

There's definitely going to be an election and it will be Tory no deal vs whatever Corbyn decides to serve up. 

 

I'm hoping he's holding on because he knows his unpopularity is the only thing that might prompt Johnson to call an election, but then after it's called he steps down and Starmer takes his place and campaigns for remain. Labour would win, maybe not outright but a government of some kind of unity could be formed.

If there is a pact it could go along the lines of Farage being US ambassador in return for only fielding Brexit candidates in Labour strongholds with perhaps the promise of a cabinet place should they win, say, 5 seats. Bit reliant on the rewards really only going to Farage though.

No their track record is poor.  I hate to say it but Corbyn should hand over the reins. To not be eviscerating the shambles of a government we have is not acceptable even with the shit and misrepresentation he suffers at the hands of the media.  Johnson and his band of crooks have to be defeated at all costs and we are at an existential moment in our history.

You don’t defeat the far right in 2019 by a return to normalcy and standards. We need systemic change, any labour leader offering systemic change will get the same push back as Corbyn has received. We need to address the failing capitalist/oligarchic system. A moderate labour leader might be more electable, according to the media and Tory polling companies, but doesn’t actually offer any of what we need to lift civilisation out of the mire. We are at an existential moment in our history.
