I didn't actually see his hand or him but I came down into the living room, stuck the light on & heard something that wasn't a cat going on in the kitchen.

 

Aye, I think a lot of burglars use cat flaps to try & get to keys & stuff, we hide the back door keys at night though & put the alarm on so they'd need to tan the window/door in, same as any other house.

My cat has his own set of keys. Pisses me off banging on the door at 2am when he's gone out without them though. Next time he can fucking well sleep in his car.

I've actually just got rid of my doors, windows, roof & the whole fucking house because they're just a load of weak spots for burglars.

Pros and cons, I imagine. An increased chance of new stuff but then I’d imagine the security of new builds being greater.

The moral of the story is that there’s some scrote willing to give any kind of property a go on the chance of finding something they can readily sell on

Sorry, I meant new builds might mean people forget how their new doors work.  Our old house door locked when shut, new one didn’t. Luckily we were never burgled.

Most new builds are equipped with shitty eurolocks which can be hollowed out with a battery-powered drill. 

 

Anyway, should anyone want to know the law of the land should they be confronted with a burglar.
