1 and 2 are interchangeable depending on mood. Brosnan looked and felt like Bond but with maybe the exception of Goldeneye, the films are pretty shit. Craig, for me, just isn’t James Bond and the films just feel like run-of-the-mill action films.

Brosnan was a great Bond with shitty material to work with., but I couldn't warm to Dalton at all.

The other Bond films are vibrantly colorful but Craig's movies are all dark and gloomy, like they're shot with a brown filter.

I can remember most of the details of the earlier Bond films, certainly the plot, the women and some of the jokes but these latest ones I can remember fuck all about them.

Looks decent that.

Probably said before but I reevaluated my thoughts on Craig after watching a YouTube vid about all the bonds where they said that he doesn't actually have any of the traits you associate with Bond, and which make him different from other action heroes.

He can shoot and twat people with the best of them, but isn't cultured or suave, a womaniser, a drinker or a fan of the finer things in life, he's just a killer.

Was watching a Connery one recently, think it was Diamonds are Forever, and he's in a Vegas casino in a white tux while everyone else is dressed for a night out at Wetherspoons. He bets big, wins, and has this general air of being too good for it all. That's a sizeable chunk of Bond's character, to my mind.

Moore is still my favourite though.

Reports Tom Hardy is taking over.

Can't see that, he'll be pushing 50 by the time a film comes out won't he?

I reckon it'll be a left field choice most of us won't see coming.

I'd like to see a return of a dapper bond, someone you can actually see sinking a few martinis at a casino rather than just going around breaking sinks with people's heads, over and over.

Surely we want better than okay though? He did what general zod could never accomplish and destroyed Superman.

Zack Snyder did that.  Thought Cavill made a decent Superman but was clearly no Christopher Reeves (who is though).

I thought about Tom Ellis but looking at some of the fight scenes in Lucifer he just doesn't seem to have any fighting skills at all.

I suppose as that character he doesn't really ever need to 'fight' as such. As Bond he would need to be more physical. Besides, Roger Moore got by despite a lack of fighting skills.
