Not sure he'd fancy getting out of bed for this mess. A win next league game is incredibly important for Rodgers, the identity of the opposition is irrelevant.

 

We cannot fuck around with another Hodgson, allowing a dead duck to coast until January; I think BR has positive ideas, but if he is unable to motivate the players, that doesn't matter. Fail to claim three points next week and he needs five wins on the trot to really stave off doubts; fortunately, it's a very comfortable run of games, and nothing less would be expected. Lose two or three of them and it's almost certainly over - we cut our losses or we struggle to stay in the division.

 

Our squad may be heavily flawed, but there's no way it should be in such a miserable position and defeated so resoundingly so often. It needs to be organised and drilled into a structured system before pretty passing is considered. Yeah, I sympathise with the fact that we have no striker, but the problem comes with Rodgers' apparent inability to properly organise a midfield or defence.

 

It's surmountable, but we need to see something that suggests he is capable of carrying out his job soon.
