Reina, Johnson, Skrtel, Agger, Enrique, Allen, Sahin, Gerrard, Sterling, Borini, Suarez.

 

subs: Jones, Carragher, Shelvey, Downing, Henderson, Kelly, Coates.

 

Presumably Assaidi is just lacking match fitness?

 

That's the starting XI I would choose, even when everyone is fit.

 

Although it's giving Borini a large amount of leeway, as I fear he isn't very good. That said, we don't have any other strikers thanks to Rodgers, Ayre and FSG.

Luis is having a bit of a mare right now, hopefully it means he's going to score a superb goal. Think we've started quite well without really threatening them.
