We are in for a very painful and long season. Too many flaws in Rodgers system. How can he can ask his midfield line to press the opposition high up the pitch and his defense line to stand off is beyond me. Either you ask both lines to stand off or instead have both of them press high and play an offside system like any successful high pressing possession- based team does, but certainly not how we are playing at the moment. Rafa is starting to look almost as inevitable as Kenny did in September 2010, and sadly, he was probably our best option in the summer, which speaks volumes about where we are as a club; they'd better not cock around until January if we're in the mire come mid-October.
