I never really liked Bottom. It just never compared with The Young Ones, and I also preferred Filthy Rich And Catflap. It was overly reliant on the silly violence and just became repetitive for me. I love Rik and Ade but this just didn't do it for me.

I got a bit tired of the programme for being very repetitive myself but never had any time for that Filthy Rich thing. Its fair to say that Bottom had some hilarious scenes and episodes though. Still beats 90% of the modern stuff as well. An homage to slapstick I suppose.

They certainly were. I went to see them in Blackburn and the same fuck ups​ were in the DVD filmed in Nottingham.
