"Before my diagnosis I would say I was a competitor, but I wasn't a fierce competitor. And in an odd way that process turned me in to a person that was gonna who was truely win at all costs".

So it was cancer's fault Lance.

I did "cheat", but:

(1) cancer made me do it;

(2) when everyone else was doing it anyway;

and (3) then the successful cancer survivor story made me keep doing it.

That's it. Good night.

Then Oprah points out he was doping before cancer, "But I wasn't a bully then".

You really couldn't make it up. The fucking cunt.

I for one would like it to be known that my rectal sphincter currently awaits forlornly the deep caress of Code's tongue.

Did I mention the prolapse? Push it all back in, there's a good lad.

He bullshitted his way through that interview and contradicted himself loads.

He reckons he never tested positive. He did.

He reckons he couldn't test positive as he would dope before a race and then be 'clean' during it. But he admits to doping after the 11th stage.

He's a lying piece of shit.

David Walsh the Sunday Times journalist was on Radio Five this morning and he was saying to Nicky Campbell that Armstrong lied to his cancer doctors that he had not taken growth hormones, EPO and steroids before his cancer was diagnosed. Apparently these could have contributed to his developing cancer and he was saying this was his greatest lie of all and that the doctors who treated him felt utterly betrayed. It was a brilliant interview if you can find it on their website or on iPlayer.

David Walsh has been the man on this story since 1999. I recommend his book Seven deadly Sins to anyone with an interest in this story.

Not watched the interview as I'm not that interested but what will get done about all of the income he fraudulently earned? If say a salesperson had boosted their sale figures and earned extra income from it I'd expect them to be up on fraud charges or something.
