So he told you that then?

God bless.

Its all there in the USADA reasoned decision, sworn testimony from multiple sources who were in the room when he said it.

If you want to go on believing there was a time when Lance competed clean then you are only kidding yourself.

Because that is comparable....

Looks like he's a cheat given the evidence and if he admits it none of this really matters. He's lived his life as a athlete, not as a fundraiser.

The charity came after his 'sporting' achievements, he's a cyclist who founded a charity, not the other way round.

I doubt the sole reason for potentially doping was to found a cancer awareness charity.

There are none so blind as those that will not see.

You're engaging with a guy who posted the following about rumours of Armstrong's imminent confession:

Armstrong has nothing to lose, if he play along now its only so he can take part in competitions since he now is banned from all sports anyway without evidence, you have to play to the crowd sometimes.

Don't waste your time.

I have no problem with either of yours dislike of Armstrong, but the questioning of his motives for starting the Livestrong campaign is way out of line.

I dont buy it, you are clutching at straws and playing some kind of righteous indignation card to defend your idol. He's been conclusively shown to be a fraud and a bully in the sports arena so you've given up on that line of defense and now all you have left is his charity work.

I think its wonderful that Livestrong.org has raised so much money and helped so many people, but there is no way that gives him a free ride on the issues of how he has profited from the creation of Livestrong.com which masquerades as a charity, and from the appearance money he gets paid personally to attend his own charity events. We absolutely must question conduct like that.

Santos Tour Down Under - Santos Tour Down Under – Cancer Council SA

The Tour Down Under is run to benefit the Cancer Council of South Australia.

Lance Armstrong rode in it 3 times and is reported to have been paid $AUD9 million by the South Australian Government who are understandably filthy with him. These payments didn't go to charity. They were paid to Armstrong personally.

its like with Bono when people say if he cared that much about Africans that much he'd give all his money away instead of promoting it in the press but why should he? he's given them more bags of rice than most people put together so Africans like Bono
