49 million fine, but 32 of it is suspended, 21 man squad for CL, a salary cap, plus 49 max transfer (not including any players sold).

 

Despite what City claim, I expect they DID intend to spend more than 49 million in the summer, so I can see some swap deals happening. 

 

PSG arguing that the French tax system means it costs them more than other nations. Putting aside the amount the have spent and can afford, they do raise valid points... about the disparity between countries.

 

PL clubs earn a fortune, but spread the TV money, Spain earns a fair bit and don't spread it so evenly, each country has different tax rates...   and it's all supposed to be 'even'.

 

Still, a fairly promising start to FFP, but a long way to go yet - fine tuning it so it really is more even.
