I just can't see west ham getting anything against the cheating billionaires. I'm not overly disappointed though. Can't wait for next season and the return to the CL. Bring that shit on.

History will show that citeh won the league this season but the whole world knows they only just scraped past us and have been fined £50m for cheating their way to the title. Fuck them and fuck their plazzy fans. Man City no longer exist as a club, it's a grotesque, soulless, multi billion pound, under-performing marketing machine with hangers-on for supporters.

It's a vehicle for showing off Abu Dhabi's Midas touch, that everything they're involved with is brilliant and successful. It's why they'd buy a City rather than an Arsenal: the history books show City as a middle-of-the-road club who floundered around until the divine hand of the Abu Dhabi royal family got involved, then suddenly this ushered in a golden era of unprecedented success. Of course it had nothing to do with the unprecedented levels of fucking spending - no, just down to their brilliance.

I've made my peace with it, as disappointed as I feel. We had half a season of top 4 form, then half a season of title winning form. We've therefore finished between the two, but every half season since Rodgers got here has been better than the one that preceded it so I'm confident that'll continue. Bring on the transfer window - better positioned than we have been for half a decade - and bring on the next season and the CL nights back where they belong.
