Not sure how it's a terrible appointment when it's vastly improved their chances of staying up. He's a cunt but you can't argue with his record

He's been Newcastle manager.

He's an utterly odious twat that plays alehouse football.

He wears an ear piece.

He is a Ferguson acolyte

He will fuck off at the first hint of trouble blaming everyone around him

When he leaves club will improve significantly- see West Ham.

He's an utter shithouse, who, even if we were bottom of the table, I would puke up if we were so much as linked with him.

Will that do?

And the point being that Sunderland chances of staying up have massively increased with this appointment

There are no circumstances in existence that would convince me that he is not a terrible appointment.

For anyone.

Ever.

I admire your conviction. You're right as well. The fucking walrus cunt is shit and has serious delusions of grandeur.

A qucik questions: Who gets the CL spot if the winner of the EL qualifies through theri national league?

An example - LFC vs BVB in the finals and they both get CL through home league. Who gets it? 3rd in EL is hard to determine as there is no 3rd place play-off?

In those instances I believe there is no additional CL spot.

Pretty sure I've read the same thing. I think if we were to win the EL and finish 5th, the fourth placed team in the league would drop into the EL instead of the CL.

Would be absolutely buzzing if that happened, whoever finished fourth.

Wales just need a point tonight away to Bosnia to qualify for the Euro's. Would like to see them do it but wouldn't be shocked to see them bottle it. Massive pressure on them tonight.

So Northern Ireland and Wales have both qualified for the Euro 2016. Good stuff, it will be an interesting competition.

Let's see if Ireland make it tomorrow. They will also qualify if they beat Poland away.

Too many teams qualifying for the Euros now.  The old format was fine, 16 teams, most of them able to hold their own.  Used to prefer the Euros to the world cup for this reason.  Now we've got shite like Northern Ireland and Wales simply making up the numbers in a bloated tournament.  Same as the world cup.

Yeah spot on. Euros has been my favourite since it went 16 teams. Cracking competition, just the right balance of number and quality of teams.

I think we might get a freak winner of the next Euro's.

Germany and Spain aren't at the level they were. The Dutch might not even qualify. Italy have got good results but, on paper, their first XI is relatively poor, compared to past Italy teams.

I wouldn't rule out France or Belgium. Or even England. Might even get another Greece, one of the less favoured, but defensively tighter, teams like Iceland or Austria surprising a few people.

I think it's a wide open tournament.

To be fair to Wales and N. Ireland- Iceland, too- they probably would even have qualified under the old format. All three of those teams are in the top two of their respective groups and all have a shot of winning it in the last round of matches. It's not as if they've scraped in as play-off winners having finished third. They've all done fantastically well and more than deserve their spot at the finals next year.

France are second favourites. They wouldn't be a surprise winner at all, in my opinion. I'd be very surprised if Germany or France didn't win it. No other side has got strength all over the pitch. Spain won't score enough goals (they've been shite in qualifying against the mediocre sides - as opposed to the really fucking shit sides).
