I can't wait until they dump Jeremie Boga, I think he's going to be the next Kevin De Bruyne, in terms of a Chelsea reject who goes on to be a big star.

Still remember watching a U21 game against Chelsea maybe two years ago (?) with him in their side at age 16.  Sterling was still playing some for our youth sides, and we went up 3-0 against them and started to coast.  And then they sent on this little 16-year old who just destroyed us, brilliant player, every bit as good as Raheem despite being 2-3 years younger.  Ended up 3-3, I think he had all three goals.

Now he's out on loan in France, I think, hopefully to be shipped off next summer or something.  Maybe we can pick him up from whoever he goes to, he's going to be very good.

Ridiculous what Chelsea are doing with their loan setup - even when the players do turn out to be quality like De Bruyne or Lukaku or Matic they can't find room for them and sell them off to fund more of the same.  In Matic's case only to buy him back for 5 times the price a year later.

Scotland are predictably doing a Scotland. They will be the only one of the five Home Nations (yes, I'm including the Republic) not to qualify.

And has any football nation fallen further than Hungary? From the Magnificent Magyars to being 1-0 down at home to the Faroe Islands.

Think the Greeks might have something to say about that...

Beaten home and away by the Faroes.

Scotland levelled just before half time with a belting 25-yarder from Matt Ritchie. He scored a brilliant volley from similar range for Bournemouth recently too.

Looks like the Jocks are going all independent again by being the only home country not to qualify....
