I honestly don't think they've spent that money well at all.

Defoe must be tearing his hair out. I know he's no world beater, but he's good for a couple of goals and you can't really turn your nose up at someone like him when you've only scored nine all season. I'm certain he'd have gotten more than Soldado in the same minutes; he's just been anonymous whenever I've watched Spurs this season.

It's strange with City they are by far and away the best team in our league I mean they at times literally destroy their rivals and yet they lose to dross like Cardiff, Villa and Sunderland. Also as for Europe they have all the players to mount a challenge but you can't see it happening they will crumble at some point.

You wonder what is the something that is missing?

Spurs spent about 110m last summer.

They have the third worst attack/scoring record in the league.

That's what happens when you sell your best player. It's so hard to find players that they perform for your team at world class level. Just because they invested the money from Bale, it doesn't mean that they would get the same value or the same performances from his replacements.

The only reason they got 20 points so far has been controversial referee decision, as I said a few weeks ago they should be around 13-14 points, instead of 20.

I can't believe football supporters and ours do it too but you are destroying one of your rivals (been a while in our case and in City's case after years and years of misery) and yet the ground is half empty as the 6th goal goes in....but if they were losing there would be more staying behind to boo them off.
