We were dreadful against villa Sunday but that doesn't mean other teams have nothing to fear against us and vice versa. United and Chelsea were both cagey and negative they cancelled each other out. You'd be deluded to think Sunday will be a push over for us.

It's obviously early in the season and it's difficult to draw many conclusions from two games, but the mancs look very pedestrian, Chelsea look to be lacking in firepower and City look vulnerable at the back. If we get off to a good start then we can achieve a lot this season. We really, really need the board to back the manager and allow us to sign the two or three quality players who could make a big difference for us this season.

I disagree about bringing in a top player on loads of money. Right now we're flying under the radar and playing with no real expectation, perhaps because we haven't signed anyone of note. We're doing ok, we don't need a Wllian.
