see Newcastle are making Papiss Cisse train on his own till they decide what to do about his refusal to wear the Wonga kit

surely thats the wrong way to go about it?

Hope they make him play in the fucking U21's in a wonga shirt! He was happy enough to play in a shirt that advertised another money lender for profit last season. I know wonga is shit and are nothing short of legalised loan sharks but come on.

I'm not massive on religion or anything and don't care whether he ends up wearing a shirt with it on or not just think its a bit daft to alienate your first team striker before the final decision on the situation is taken (especially when your only other option is fucking Ameobi!) surely just find some training gear without it on for now then come to a final decision to make an exception for him on the kit or say if you play your wearing the sponsor like it or lump it.

But as someone else mentioned not letting him train with the first time whilst it is resolved is surely edging on to discrimination ground

So Shrek is a bit miffed at what Gollum said? Splendid!

Maureen getting in on the act and saying if shrek is second choice it is bad for England. Welcome back Maureen you fuck, we haven't missed you for one second. I can't believe I am going to have to read more shite that comes out of your stupid fucking mouth.

We are going to do well this year. The rest of the teams are full of shitheads.

whats funny about this is the amount of evertonians tweeting "come home wayne" . like this idiot :

Goodison Falls ‏@GoodisonFalls 3h

Despite the horrible way he left, Wayne Rooney doesn't love Manchester United, he loves Everton. I know that, you do too.

turns out they have conveniently chosen to forget shrek kissing his badge at goodison or the 'die rooney' chants at goodison

I have been reading the comments on the BBC story and 90% want him to go. Now i can't assume all of them are United fans, but it seems like he isn't really loved by them. Am I wrong?

He's been trying to get out of there since 2010 when he handed in a transfer request, and Ferguson packed him off to America for 'conditioning' (I think). Their fans are probably still upset about that as well as the current stuff. This time, he's been sent home because of his hamstring.

Seemed a very clumsy thing to say by Moyes when it didn't need saying at all. A cynic might suggest they want to get rid before the window ends & are panicking a bit due to his present injury.

I don't think it was careless at all, it must have been intentional. They are both just playing to the gallery. Rooney will lose and this way they both come out of it with their reasons.

Chortle.

Muslim footballer Papiss Cisse, who refuses to wear Newcastle Wonga shirt is pictured GAMBLING in a casino | Mail Online

A picture has emerged apparently showing Muslim footballer Papiss Cisse at a casino table.

It comes as the Newcastle striker is at loggerheads with the club over their decision to replace old sponsor Virgin Money with pay-day loan company Wonga.

Cisse, who is one of a number of Muslim players at Newcastle, has told the hierarchy at the club that he is unwilling to wear the shirt as it conflicts with his religious beliefs.

But an image has emerged on Twitter that claims to show the Senegalese forward gambling in a casino. As well as the lending of money, gambling is not permissible in Islam.

Excuse my ignorance but how do Muslims buy homes and cars if they can't lend money?

I think they can lend money, but not the way we know of it, because the lender can't place interest on the repayments. It's the concept of interest that's the problem I think.

Thought Barca looked better in the 2nd after replacing their entire team, they clearly have plenty of younger players good enough to go straight into a lot of clubs first eleven. Will hopefully be watching some of both teams next season, and would still be happy if we sold Suarez to Bayern and somehow got Shaqiri with cash, (if we could get a good experienced striker too with part of that cash.) Guardiola probably wouldn't be too happy about that, but it'll be interesting to see what happens if they bid for him.

edit : finished 2-0 to Bayern for those that didn't see it.
