Owen Coyle to Wigan.

Good move by them. I like him.

agreed, obviously the claims for him to be our manager were premature given whats happened since but he did an amazing job with Burnley and had a very good first 18months or so at Bolton.

Sometimes doesn't take enough responsibility himself when things go wrong but seems a decent chap and plays good football

Looking forward to Spain v Norway U21's. This crop of youngsters is the best for at least a decade (not saying much I know) from us.

I actually fancy us to get a result here. We'll of course have about 25 % of the ball, but we have a couple of dangerous players up front (at this level) in Pedersen and King.

Think we'll surprise a few onlookers..

Isco has all the tricks but also can pick out passes some player.

Coutinho is a bit like that, no ? There's a game plan slowly drifting into place here.......

I hope he can take the physical side of the Prem, because that's probably the biggest surprise I've had with Little Phil. Watching him bounce barcode shirts all over the place at St James Park was as much of an eye opener as his obvious passing ability. Deceptive little bugger, Milan are right to feel we robbed them blind.

I could watch the lad all day. Seriously. He should be one of the players we keep at all costs, no matter who else may be leaving. Some of the passing in that clip is fucking outrageous. Provided he stays injury free and stays on track, he is going to be massive for us in the near future. At 20 years of age, his potential is fucking huge. Give it another season or two and we'll be fending the usual mega rich suspects off with a sharp stick for his signature.

Have you read the article on Guardian about Kinnear?

I think gkmacca's take on this is correct. My first instinct. Pardew had a good first season then it walk went pear shaped. Ashley spazzed out regretting te 27 year contract he gave him and needs to unsettle him.

I love Newcastle. They just keep delivering this sort of thing.
