Watched The Rock v Hogan at Mania 18 last night.

 

Not a great in-ring match by any means but the crowd reactions, and both Wrestlers reactions to it, were perfect examples of two pros who knew their audience and how to play it off the cuff.  Great stuff

When I was about 10 my folks took us to Pontins or Butlins or somewhere and they had a wrestling show on.  I remember the face of the main event saying "do you want me to do a pile driver??" everyone shouted yes, so he pretended to drive his thumb up the other guys arse.

 

This morning, at 9am 24 years later I just started laughing to myself because I got the joke.
